    Abstract: A video monitoring system applicable to a security system is provided with a television camera, one or more television monitors, one or more AC adaptors equal in number to the television monitors, and one or more adaptors equal in number to the television monitors. Each adaptor connects the television camera to the associated television monitor via a prior stage component of the monitoring system and to a next stage component. At least one of the adaptors has functions for transmitting DC power supply of the associated AC adaptor to the associated television monitor, for transmitting DC power supply to the prior stage component via the associated television monitor, for transmitting and amplifying an audio signal of the television camera to the associated television monitor and to the next stage component, for transmitting and amplifying a video signal of the television camera to the next stage component upon receipt of DC power supply from the next stage component, and for transmitting the video signal from the prior stage component to the associated television monitor.

    Abstract: A color cathode-ray tube where an electron beam selection mask with an aperture grille type beam selection electrode of a thin metal plate attached to a frame is supported by engagement of stud pins with support springs and is thereby positioned stably opposite to a color luminescent screen formed on the inner surface of a panel. A projection is formed on either the top of each stud pin or the bottom of each cap opposed thereto, while a recess is formed in the other for engagement with the projection in the direction orthogonal to the action of the support spring. The mutual contact portions of such projection and recess are coated with solid lubricant films so that the beam selection mask can be reset at its proper position despite any external impact applied thereto. The elasticity constant of the frame is selectively set at a desired value with additional disposition of reinforcing plates having the same thermal expansion coefficient as that of the frame, thereby averting vibration of the beam selection mask. And rotary mechanisms are formed relative to the support springs and are rotated in accordance with thermal expansion of the frame, so that the frame is shifted toward the panel surface having a color luminescent screen thereon, whereby mislanding of the electron beam due to temperature rise in the beam selection mask can be prevented.

    Abstract: A color television camera utilizing a vidicon tube that has a filter in the form of alternate stripes for the primary colors red, green and blue, a pair of electrodes for each set of three stripes and a photoconductive layer. An alternating voltage produced by a DC-DC converter is applied to the electrodes to provide a predetermined pattern on the surface of the photoconductive layer with the image to be reproduced. The composite signal on the photoconductive layer of an index signal and a color video signal is fed back through the same terminals that applied the alternating voltage to the electrodes to a circuit which separates the color video signal from the index signal. The index signal is then applied to three demodulators to obtain the color video signals. The circuit which separates the index and chrominance signals operates under the control of an output signal from the DC-DC converter which also supplies the alternating voltage to the electrodes.
