Abstract: PURPOSE:To perform desired convergence adjustment having no influence on convergence adjustment and neck shadow tolerance by connecting the damping circuits consisting of a resistor and the diodes which are connected to the resistor, to the right and left convergence coils separately and in a series. CONSTITUTION:When a magnetic flux generated at a horizontal deflection coil 8 is absorbed by the right and cores 11r, 11l of a convergence coil 10, electromotive force reversed to an H-pulse is going to be generated in a closed loop to be constituted between the convergence coils 121, 122 wound about the right and left cores 11r, 11l respectively and the respective damping circuits 141, 142. However, since the diodes 161, 162 are interposed reversely to the direction, into which electromotive force is going to flow, no electromotive force is generated. Accordingly, no magnetic field in the reverse direction due to a leak magnetic flux of a deflection yoke 6 is formed. Thereby, no surplus magnetic field is formed to the convergence yoke, no neck shadow tolerance is narrowed while being able to perform desired convergence adjustment.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To get rid of socalled color deviation in a screen peripheral part by arranging short coils in the upper and lower positions on the central line in the right and left directions respectively in the rear of a deflection yoke. CONSTITUTION:When a prescribed saw tooth current is supplied to the horizontal deflection coils 19, 19, a barrel-shaped magnetic field F1 is formed in the rear part of a deflection yoke 6 while the correction coils 22, 22 are constituted in a short circuit so that a reverse magnetic field F2 is generated between the correction coils 22, 22 by the magnetic field F1 formed by the horizontal deflection coils 19, 19 and a synthetic magnetic field F in that part gets a pin cushion shape so that only the central beam G of the electron beams R, G, B passing therebetween mainly undergoes its influence. Then, a deflection amount of the electron beam G mainly undergone the influence of the reverse magnetic field F2 by the correction coils 22, 22 is suppressed to be smaller than when undergone only the influence of the magnetic field F1 formed by the horizontal deflection coils 19, 19 so that three electron beams R, G and B can be accorded on a phosphor screen 4.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which can obtain a synthesis video signal that does not cause synchronous disturbance without the sudden and large rise of cost in the device by providing a synchronous addition circuit and supplying a synchronizing signal from a synchronizing generator to the synchronous addition circuit. SOLUTION: Signals Y1 and C1 constituting a reproduced color video signal is transmitted to a circuit 1. When the signals Y1 and C1 are variable speed reproduced luminance signals, chroma signals C1 are collected to a memory, and the synchronizing signal is added to a signal in a picture unit or it is exchanged. The signals Y1 and C1 from the circuit 1 are supplied to a decoder 2 and are converted into blue and red color difference signals (R1-Y1) and (B1-Y1). Signals Y2 and C2 from a circuit 12P in a deck 12 are transmitted to a decoder 4 and are converted into blue and red color difference signals (R2-Y2) and (B2-Y2). The signals from the decoders 2 and 3 are transmitted to a circuit 4 and one screen is constituted by two pictures. Signals Y3 and SS are transmitted to a circuit 5 and the synchronizing signal SS for the signal Y3 is added.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a ringing phenomenon by forming auxiliary horizontal coils into a closed circuit structure so as to generate the deflection magnetic field in the opposite direction to the direction of the main magnetic field generated by a saddle type horizontal coil. Values of capacitors of the auxiliary horizontal coils 21-24 are selected so that their resonance frequencies are set near the ringing frequency of the saddle type horizontal coil 13, resonance currents flow in the auxiliary horizontal coils 21-24 respectively, energy is consumed by resistance and damped, and the value of the current of the frequency component related to a ringing phenomenon is reduced. A ringing countermeasure can be obtained.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the deformation of a corner spot in electron beams and higher misconvergence by further modulating a bias magnetic field by beams of the triangle wave of a vertical period in a convergence correction device supplying the correction current of a parabolic shape to a convergence correction coil. CONSTITUTION:For changing the correction quantity of convergence in both upper and lower ends and the intermediate part of a screen in a size shown by arrows, the coils 4a and 4b are added to the leg parts 1a and 1b of a core. The current Iv which is obtained by full wave-rectifying the saw tooth waves of a vertical period supplied from terminals V1 and V2 in diodes D1 and D2 and resistances R1 and R2(R1=R2) is supplied to the coils 4a and 4b. The magnetic field which occurs by the coils 4a and 4b modulate the bias magnetic field so that it is reduced. Consequently, the amplitude of the correction current iH is modulated with the vertical period and misconvergence which occurs in the center or the intermediate part of the screen can be reduced.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast program recording and reproducing system with a digital interface that can simply process reference and registration of reservation information of a broadcast program by using an AV/C command and that can set the reservation without a problem. SOLUTION: The broadcast program recording and reproducing system with a digital interface consists of a posting device that is provided with the digital interface in compliance with the IEEE1394 standards and that operates reservation of a broadcast program and of a target device that is provided with a resource schedule board of a bulletin board sub-unit registering the reservation information of the broadcast program. The target device registers the reservation information of the broadcast program to the resource schedule board of the bulletin board sub-unit by using the AV/C command for data transmission/ reception via the digital interface to share the reservation information. The resource schedule board can confirm the presence/absence of the reservation for a prescribed time zone and/or can set the reservation for the prescribed time zone by using a reservation confirmation command and a reservation execution command belonging to the AV/C commands.
