    Abstract: A receiver of a frequency-modulated signal is provided. The receiver includes a frequency-transposition unit for lowering the frequency of the frequency-modulated signal, and a digital demodulator for regenerating a digital signal from the frequency-transposed signal. The frequency-transposition unit includes a local oscillator for generating a local oscillator signal used in lowering the frequency of the frequency-modulated signal. The frequency-transposed signal is sampled in the digital demodulator at the rate of a sampling signal, and the sampling signal is generated by the local oscillator of the frequency-transposition unit. In a preferred embodiment, the local oscillator includes at least one frequency-divider circuit that delivers the sampling signal. Also provided is a method for regenerating a digital signal from a frequency-modulated signal.

    Abstract: The voltage regulator delivers a controlled output voltage via MOSFET power transistors (M10M, M10L), with the output voltage set relative to a reference potential (VBG). The regulator has two input terminals (EM, EL), each connected to an independent supply source (VM, VL). An automatic selection circuit (11) connects the higher of the input voltages to the regulator input. The terminal connected to the lower supply voltage is automatically isolated from the remainder of the circuit. The selector (11) introduces a small voltage drop, equal to the voltage drop over a single power transistor, between the input and the output of the regulator.

    Abstract: The voltage regulator has an input terminal (EL) which is connected to a supply voltage (VL). A reference generator circuit (1') delivers a reference voltage (VBG) which is proportional to the required regulated output voltage (VR). An amplifier circuit (2') amplifies the error signal between the reference voltage and the actual output voltage to produce a constant of proportionality. A capacitor (C) is connected across the output of the regulator to sustain the output voltage temporarily and the energy stored in the capacitor is used to temporarily supply the regulator circuit if the supply voltage falls. A comparator (12) delivers an external logic signal if the supply voltage falls.
