    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Al-Ti clad plate in which the pre-treatment of the stock is sufficiently used by only the normal pickling or the degreasing cleaning, the clad plate of relatively wide area can be joined without deformation such as warping, the price is low and the quality is excellent. SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method of an Al-Ti clad plate by the diffusion bonding method, an Al or Al-alloy plate and a Ti or Ti-alloy plate are prepared as stocks, and a pair of stocks 1 in which both stocks are lapped are made to be the clad plate through the heating and pressurization treatment in which the bearing pressure of 300-500kgf/cm is loaded at 570-600 deg.C under the reduced pressure atmosphere. After the stainless steel plate is joined with the Ti or Ti-alloy plate in advance, the Al or Al-alloy plate is joined therewith to make the clad plate of the three-layered structure of Al-Ti-stainless steel.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite material for electromagnetic induction heating, in which the junction strength between a magnetic metal plate and an aluminum plate is remarkably improved and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: This composite material comprises a magnetic metal plate and an aluminum plate joined together via metal plating layers provided on one side of each. Each metal plating layer comprises a nickel plating bed layer and a copper plating layer provided thereon. Also, the nickel plating bed layer is formed on one side of each of the magnetic metal plate and the aluminum plate, and after the copper plating layer is formed thereon, the magnetic metal plate and the aluminum plate are joined together via the copper plating layers.
