Abstract: Diaphragm for an electrical audio instrument manufactured from paper. The paper is manufactured from a pulp with a stroke index complying with a specific degree of looseness. The pulp also contains chopped carbon fibre whose modules of elasticity shall not be less than a given value. The diameter of the carbon fibre chipping shall be between 1 and 20 microns and the length between 0.5 and 20 millimeter. The surface of the carbon fibre is roughened by an oxidising process. The diaphragm has the shape of a cone or a dome. The diaphragm is fitted into a loudspeaker for use in hi-fi equipment.
