Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably divide yarn without causing any yarn cuts even at high speed when twisted yarn dividing polyester multifilament is divided into single yarn by a twisted yarn dividing machine by gradually recreating the number of twists, which is the subtraction of the number of yarn untwists from the number of yarn twists, from the beginning to finishing of winding them around the package. SOLUTION: Regarding manufacture of a package for twisted yarn dividing polyester multifilament, which spin melts the polyester and makes package winding of a wound drum as drawing and adding twists to the yarn with a draw twister, the number of twists arrived by subtracting the number of yarn untwists from the number of yarn twists at the time of adding twists are processed so that they are wound by the number of twists being gradually increased from the beginning to the finishing of package winding. In this case, it is preferably to set the number of yarn twists arrived by subtracting the number of yarn untwists from the number of yarn twists to be 1.0T/m or more at the beginning of package winding and less than 12.0T/m at the finish of winding. Thus yarn can be divided even at high speed without causing any yarn cuts.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyester yarn having an X type cross section with water absorbing properties and quick-drying properties than those of a conventional yarn in use not only for silk but also for finished yarn, useful as a material for sport clothing or inner clothing by making the yarn have a specific intersection angle and a specified porosity.
