    Abstract: PURPOSE:To manufacture efficiently an electrode film having an orienting function by using an acetylenic polymer film, especially a uniaxially stretched film as at least one of electrode plates. CONSTITUTION:A film of a polymer of substituted acetylene such as phenylacetylene or alkylacetylene, a copolymer of substituted acetylenes or a copolymer of optionally substituted acetylene with an olefin monomer such as ethylene, propylene or styrene besides an acetylene homopolymer is used as an acetylenic polymer film. When the film is stretched, it has an orienting property. When the film is provided with electric conductivity, it function as an electrode. By lapping the film surface in one direction, an orienting function can be also provided. Doping for providing electric conductivity may be carried out selectively.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To inexpensively and easily obtain title polymer having permeability and moldability, by polymerizing acetylene (or its derivative) under specified conditions by using a titanium tetrabutoxide-triethylaluminum polymerization catalyst. CONSTITUTION:A polyacetylene for high-performance semiconductors is produced by polymerizing acetylene or its derivative under conditions of relations I, II and III, wherein X is a molar ratio of triethylaluminum to titanium tetrabutoxide, and y is a molar concentration of titanium tetrabutoxide in the catalyst solution, by using as titanium tetrabutoxide-triethylaluminum as a polymerization catalyst. This catalyst system can be used as such, but is usually used in solution because uniformity is preferred in applying the catalyst on the surfaces of vessel wall, metal and glass.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To recover mechanical energy, by utilizing a partial gas pressure difference in a process wherein gas released by heating the first absorbing liquid which absorbs the gas is absorbed by the second absorbing liquid whose partial gas pressure is kept lower than that of the first absorbing liquid. CONSTITUTION:The first absorbing liquid which has absorbed gas is introduced into a generator 1 through a conduit 6. Thermal energy is supplied from a heat source 11 to the absorbing liquid to release the gas therefrom. The released gas of high pressure is conducted to a turbine 9 through a conduit 8 to recover mechanical energy. The gas from the turbine 9 is conducted to an absorber 2 and removed heat by a coolant 12. The gas is then absorbed by the second absorbing liquid whose partial gas pressure is kept lower than that of the first absorbing liquid. The second liquid is conducted through a conduit 6 and a pump 4 and heated by a heat exchanger 3 and introduced into the generator 1. After the gas is released from the second absorbing liquid in the generator 1, the liquid is conveyed through a conduit 7 and cooled by the heat exchanger 3 and transferred to the absorber 2 through a valve 5.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To recover heat energy efficiently by a method wherein two kinds of absorbing liquids, which absorb gases, whose partial pressure is made differ, are used in a heat energy process utilizing the heat of absorption in the case when the gases are absorbed to the liquids. CONSTITUTION:The first absorbing liquid introduced into a heat recovery apparatus 3 from a pipe 16 absorbs a gas from a pipe 17 in a heat generating shape to raise its temperature, and heat energy generated is recovered 21. The said absorbing liquid 15 is cooled 6, is pressure-reduced by means of a valve 10 and enters a regenerator 4, and a gas is diffused by means of a heat source 22. The absorbing liquid is pressure-raised 8, heated 6 and again introduced to the heat recovery apparatus 3 through the pipe 16. The gas diffused is guide to an absorber 2 and absorbed to the second absorbing liquid. Heat energy generated is given to a cooling source 20. The second absorbing liquid is pressure-raised 7, heated 5 and introduced into a generator 1. The second absorbing liquid is provided with heat energy from a heat source 19 here, and a gas is diffused. The second absorbing liquid is cooled 5, pressure-reduced 9 and conducted to the absorber 2. The gas diffused at the generator 1 passes through the pipe 17, and is introduced into the heat recovery apparatus 3.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To convert thiocyanate ion, thiosulfuric acid radical and free sulfur etc. to sulfuric acid radical and to prevent corrosion of reactor material, by carrying out oxidation reaction of desulfurized waste liquid at a fixed temperature adding a fixed amount of copper and ammonia water. CONSTITUTION:Metallic copper, copper alloy or copper sulfate etc. and ammonia water, are added to desulfurized waste liquid so as the concentration of copper in waste liquid to be less than 50 ppm. Next, wet process oxidation reaction is carried out under the condition maintaining at least a part of the liquid in liquid phase by supplying oxygen etc. at more than 150 deg.C of reaction temperature. Hereby, all of thiocyanate ion, thiosulfuric acid radical, free sulfur in the waste liquid, are converted to sulfuric acid radical. By the above method, good conversion rate is able to obtain at about 5 ppm of copper concentration and low reaction temperature. Gas is separated from liquid in the waste liquid after treatment and waste gas is discharged in the atmosphere. Liquid is discharged as it is, because COD and copper ion concentration, are low.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the titled filmy polymer useful as an organic semiconductor material, electrical part material, etc., having electrical conductivity and high tensile strength, by applying a catalyst solution containing a dissolved polymer to the surface of a solid, followed by bringing an acetylene gas into contact with the surface. CONSTITUTION:A reaction container is charged with a solvent, e.g., toluene, etc. under an inert gas atmosphere, titanium butoxide and triethyl aluminum are added to it and reacted to give a reaction product, to which a solution with dissolved polymer, e.g., polystyrene, etc. is added, to prepare a catalyst solution for polymerization. The inert gas in the container is removed while the reaction container being cooled, the container is rotated so that the catalyst solution is attached to the inner wall of the container. An acetylene gas is introduced into the container, so that polymerization is carried out on the surface of the container, to give the desired filmy polymer.
