    Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide the subject apparatus suppressing randomization of flow of whole bath liquid and capable of preventing confounding by arranging flow- uniformizing plates along the bath side faces and the bath bottom face of a bath. CONSTITUTION: Flow-uniformizing plates 6 and 7 are arranged along a yarn route of synthetic fiber bundles 1 substantially parallel to the side faces 8 and the bottom face 9 of a bath. An accompanied flow of a bath liquid 4 generated by passing of the fiber bundles inside the bath is reflected on a taking out side wall face, flows between the plates and the bath faces, returns to a feeding side and the flow of the bath liquid is controlled to suppress dispersing of the fiber bundles.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the title precursor having excellent reeling properties and productivity, by attaching a finishing oil to acrylonitrile-based yarn tow comprising drawn filaments, winding and heat-treating at a specific temperature for a specific time. CONSTITUTION:For example, an acrylonitrile-based polymer comprising >=85wt.% acrylonitrile is spun and drawn to give acrylonitrile-based yarn tow having >=1,000 filaments, which is provided with preferably >=0.05wt.% finishing oil (e.g. polybutene), wound and heat-treated in an atmosphere at 60-120 deg.C, preferably 70-100 deg.C for at least 6 hours, preferably 7-24 hours to give the objective precursor.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a method of treating waste water containing substance to be oxidized which does not corrode by wet oxidizing the waste water under the condition of initial pH of 12 or higher by employing catalyst prepared by adding copper compound to hydroxide alkaline aqueous solution.     Abstract: PURPOSE:To convert thiocyanate ion, thiosulfuric acid radical and free sulfur etc. to sulfuric acid radical and to prevent corrosion of reactor material, by carrying out oxidation reaction of desulfurized waste liquid at a fixed temperature adding a fixed amount of copper and ammonia water. CONSTITUTION:Metallic copper, copper alloy or copper sulfate etc. and ammonia water, are added to desulfurized waste liquid so as the concentration of copper in waste liquid to be less than 50 ppm. Next, wet process oxidation reaction is carried out under the condition maintaining at least a part of the liquid in liquid phase by supplying oxygen etc. at more than 150 deg.C of reaction temperature. Hereby, all of thiocyanate ion, thiosulfuric acid radical, free sulfur in the waste liquid, are converted to sulfuric acid radical. By the above method, good conversion rate is able to obtain at about 5 ppm of copper concentration and low reaction temperature. Gas is separated from liquid in the waste liquid after treatment and waste gas is discharged in the atmosphere. Liquid is discharged as it is, because COD and copper ion concentration, are low.
