    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a fabric, excellent in flame retardancy performance and capable of manifesting durable soil release(SR) properties even in high- temperature industrial washing by regulating an oxygen gas concentration to be introduced into a low-temperature plasma within a specified range and carrying out the low-temperature plasma treatment at any time before and after the flame retarding treatment. CONSTITUTION:A fabric composed of natural, regenerated, synthetic fiber, etc., is subjected to the low-temperature plasma treatment regulated to 10-50% oxygen gas concentration to be introduced into the low-temperature plasma at any time before and after the flame retarding treatment to afford the objective flame retardant fabric passing the flame retardancy performance specified by the fire protection law.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the title apparatus which undergoes no changes in the degree of vacuum even in high-speed treatment, is high in an efficiency of generation of plasma and has an easily cleanable electrode structure, by providing a feeding means, a winding means and a plasma radiation means of a special structure in a vacuum treatment apparatus. CONSTITUTION:In a vacuum treatment vessel 1 having movable doors 12 and 13 at both ends and connected through a draft pipe 14 to a vacuum pump, a feeding means 19 for winding a long object 23 to be treated around a rotary shaft 4 in the form of a feed roll 2, a winding means 20 for winding the object 23 through a path 8 or 9 around a rotary shaft 5 in the form of a winding roll 3 and a plasma radiation means 22 comprising a plurality of rod anodes 7 and 7' and two plate cathodes 6, 6 or 6', 6' at least either of which can be opened and which are opposed to each other in such a manner that ht anodes 7 and 7' may be sandwiched between them, and a carrying means 21 comprising a guide bar, a guide roller, etc.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To perform plasma treatment of one or both surfaces of an object at a high speed under stable conditions, by providing a feeding means, a winding means, a carrying means and a plasma radiation means in one vacuum treatment vessel. CONSTITUTION:An object 23 to be treated, wound around a feed roll 2 about a rotary shaft 4 disposed in a vacuum treatment vessel 1, is fed through a group of guide rollers 16 and 17 which constitute a carrying means 21 to a plasma radiation means 22 comprising two pairs of cathode plates 6, 6 or 6', 6' and a plurality of anodes 7 to perform plasma treatment of one surface of the object 23. This object is wound around a rotary shaft 5 in the form of winding roll. The object 23 fed from the roll 2 is fed through a roller 16 between electrodes 6 and 7 to effect treatment of one surface, fed through a guide roller 15 between electrodes 6' and 7' to effect treatment of the other surface and wound around a rotary shaft in the form of a winding roll 3.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:An apparatus, equipped with a plasma treating means, provided in a vacuum treating vessel and having a structure selectively usable for both routes for one-side treatment or both-side treatment of a material to be treated and capable of stably processing the material even at a high speed without changing the vacuum degree and readily changing over the one-side and both- side treatment. CONSTITUTION:A material 23 to be treated is wound up around a shaft 4 constituting a delivery means 19 as a delivery roll 2 and then fed therefrom to a plasma irradiation means 22 having cathodes 6, 6, 6' and 6' and anodes 7 and 7' provided therein and carried out along a route 8 for treating only one side of the material 23 or transferred along a route 9 for treating both sides to complete the treatment in a state of the material 23 wound around a shaft 5 constituting a winding means 20 as a roll 3. The changeover of the routes 8 and 9 is carried out by using guide chains 8' and 9' placed on both ends of a transfer means 21 consisting of plural guide roll groups and tying one end of the material 23 to either one thereof.
