    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crosslinked polyethylene foam which is excellent in moldability, heat resistance, etc., while retaining excellent characteristics inherent in a crosslinked polyethylene foam. SOLUTION: This foam is prepared by crosslinking and foaming a resin comprising (A) a high-pressure low-density polyethylene, (B) a linear low- to medium-density polyethylene prepared by copolymerizing ethylene and a 4-12C α-olefin and having a density of 0.94 g/cm3 or lower, and (C) a high-density polyethylene having a density of 0.94 g/cm3 or higher. Suitably, the resin comprises 20-70 wt.% ingredient A, 10-75 wt.% ingredient B, and 5-70 wt.% ingredient C.
