    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic resin composition, extremely improved in impact resistance without losing mechanical properties of the formed article and useful for electrical household appliances, etc., by using plural rubber components having a specific average particle diameter and a specific particle diameter distribution in combination. SOLUTION: This thermoplastic resin composition is composed of (A) a graft copolymer obtained by polymerizing (iii) a monomer mixture consisting of an aromatic vinyl monomer and/or an unsaturated carboxylic acid alkyl ester compound and a vinyl cyanide compound in the presence of (i) a latex of a diene-based polymer having an average particle diameter of 0.05-0.25μm, whose 80 or more wt.% has a particle diameter distribution in the range of formula I and (ii) a latex of a diene-based polymer having an average particle diameter of 0.4-0.8μm, whose 50-80wt.% has a particle diameter distribution in the range of formula II and (B) a copolymer obtained by polymerizing the component (ii). Further, the ratio of the melt viscosity of the thermoplastic resin composition to the viscosity of the component B at 130 deg.C is preferably 1-5.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a biaxially oriented laminated film for laminating a metal plate adapted to a metal can have excellent moldability and taste characteristics by specifying the metal element amounts of metal compounds contained in layers A and B of a polyester film having the layer B laminated on the one surface of the layer A. SOLUTION: The layers A and B of a polyester film having the layer B laminated on at least one surface of the layer A each contains a metal compound arbitrarily selected from antimony compounds, germanium compounds and titanium compounds. The metal element amount of the metal compound in the layer A is less than 80ppm, and the metal element of the metal compound in the layer B is 80 to less than 1000ppm. The catalyst metal amount in the layer A is reduced to obtain the film having excellent taste characteristics with reduced generation of a low-molecular-weight compound even if it receives a heat history. The catalyst metal amount in the layer B is increased to obtain a film having small thickness irregularity and excellent moldability.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To improve flavor characteristics and forming properties by forming a laminated film constituted of an A layer composed of thermoplastic resin A of glass transition temperature of specified value or over as main component and a B layer composed of polyester B containing ethylene terephthalate (ethylene isophthalate) of specified melting point as main component and polyester resin A of specified weight ratio. CONSTITUTION: A laminated film for laminating a metal sheet is constituted of an A layer composed of thermoplastic resin A of glass transition temperature of 90 deg.C or over and a B layer composed of polyester B containing ethylene terephthalate of melting point of 160-250$0C and/or ethylene isophthalate as main component and thermoplastic resin A of glass transition temperature of 90 deg.C or over at a weight ratio of 80:20 to 99.9:0.1. Not only flavor characteristics are superior, but also heat resistance is improved when the glass transition temperature measured by a dynamic viscoelasticity measurement device is 90 deg.C or over. Preferably flavor characteristics and heat resistance are particularly superior when the glass transition temperature is 100 deg.C or over, more preferably 110 deg.C or over.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a biaxially oriented film which is scarcely damaged in a high speed step and in which a decrease in an image quality at the time of dubbing is low by incorporating aggregated alpha-alumina particles having a specified particle size and particle density. CONSTITUTION:A biaxially oriented film contains aggregated alpha-alumina particles having a primary particle size of 10-200nm, a mean particle size of 50-600nm, and a particle density of 3.4-4.0g/cm . A content of the particles is not particularly limited, but preferably 0.01-3wt.% in view of scratching resistance and dubbing resistance. The film preferably contains, in addition to the particles, monodisperse particles B. As a type of the monodisperse particle B, calcium carbonate, colloidal silica, titanium oxide, etc., are preferable.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the fashion lens whose transparency is satisfactory and which shows a fluorescent color of high luminance against ultraviolet rays by constituting the lens of a cross linking resin which contains a fluorescent dyestuff and whose refractive index is >= 1.59. CONSTITUTION:The fashion lens consists of a cross linking resin which contains a fluorescent dyestuff and whose refractive index is >= 1.59. In order to obtain high luminance of a fluorescent color in a lens end part (edge part), it is necessary that the refractive index of the cross linking resin is >= 1.59, and moreover, it is desirable to be >= 1.60. As for the cross linking resin, a resin obtained by radical polymerization, an epoxy resin, a polyurethane resin, a polythiourethane resin, etc., are used desirably. In such a way, when a light beam containing ultraviolet rays is radiated in a room in which illumination is dark, the edge part emits beautiful blue fluorescence, and a lens whose fasion property is very high is obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a good plastic lens free from optical distortion by a method wherein an adhesive tape obtained by laminating an adhesive agent to a specific plastic film base material is stuck close to the sides of two molds and a polymerizable substance is cast into the mold formed by surrounding with the two molds and adhesive tape for polymerization. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive tape obtained by laminating an adhesive agent to a plastic film base material whose permeability factor to oxygen and that to vapor do not exceed respectively 15cc/m .24hr.0.1mm and 10g/m .24hr.0.1mm is stuck close to the sides of two molds positioned at a fixed interval. A polymerizable substance is polymerized by casting the same into a mold formed by surrounding with the two molds and adhesive tape and the plastic lens is manufactured. Polyvinylidene fluoride or its polymer or an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer is available as a plastic film satisfying important matters of this oxygen and permeability to the vapor. Generally a range of 10-100mum is good for a suitable thickness of the plastic film base material.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve recording density, wear resistance and durability by forming a titled medium of a 1st perpendicularly magnetized film which consists of metals and the oxide thereof and has the magnetic anisotropy in the direction perpendicular to a substrate plane and a 2nd perpendicularly magnetized film which is coated on the 1st perpendicularly magnetized film and contains barium ferrite as a magnetic material. CONSTITUTION:The 1st perpendicularly magnetized film 2 consists of >=1 kinds of the metals selected from the group consisting of cobalt, iron and nickel and vacuum- deposited on the substrate 1 and the oxide thereof and has the magnetic anisotropy in the direction perpendicular to the substrate 1 plane. The 2nd perpendicularly magnetized film 3 contains the barium ferrite as the magnetic material coated on the 1st perpendicularly magnetized film and is the perpendicularly magnetized film having the magnetic anisotropy in the direction perpendicular to the substrate 1. The surface of the 1st perpendicularly magnetized film 2 is protected by the 2nd perpendicularly magnetized film 3, by which the increase of a spacing loss is obviated and the wear resistance by the contact with a head is improved. Since the barium ferrite is hexagonal fine particles, this method is effective in improving the recording and reproducing sensitivity of high density perpendicular recording as well.

SOLUTION: This composition comprises a graft copolymer obtained by polymerizing a monomer mixture comprising an aromatic vinyl compound and/or an alkyl unsaturated carboxylate and a vinyl cyanide compound in the presence of a latex of a diene polymer having a monomodal particle diameter distribution in which the mean particle diameter (M) of the polymer particles is 0.15-0.30μm, at least 90% of the particles have diameters of 0.7×M (μm) or above, and at least 5wt.% of them have particle diameters of 2×M (μm) and a copolymer obtained by polymerizing a monomer mixture comprising an aromatic vinyl compound and/or an alkyl unsaturated carboxylate and a vinyl cyanide compound.
