    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a process for production which lessens deformation and enhances transparency by irradiating the superposed surfaces via adhesives with light of the wavelength capable of curing these adhesives from a parallel direction and a bonding type information recording medium. SOLUTION: This information recording medium is formed by superposing plural sheets (two sheets in Fig.) of base materials obtd. by laminating substrates 1, dielectric layers 2, recording layers 3, dielectric layers 4, reflection layers 5 and org. resins contg. curing acceleration materials on each other via the adhesives 7. The superposed surfaces are irradiated with the light of the wavelength capable of curing the adhesives 7 from the direction parallel with these surfaces, by which the surfaces are stuck to each other. The wavelength of the light to cure the adhesives 7 is specified to 300 to 700nm and the ray transmittance of the adhesives 7 is specified to >=0.8 at the optical path length of 1mm.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the flatness of a coating surface and to execute photosetting in the state of maintaining a uniform film thickness by providing a receiving tray with an inflow hole or discharge hole for gas. SOLUTION: An apparatus of a batch type which completely houses a substrate in the receiving tray and is provided with a cap (light transparent cover) consisting of a quartz plate is used as a UV irradiation apparatus in such a manner that the curing with UV rays is made possible in a nitrogen atmosphere. Further, the receiving tray has a hole formed on its flank in the position lower than the coating surface to prevent the infiltration of air blown to the receiving tray to the coating surface. The blown air is discharged from this hole. The blown air flows mostly only on the side lower than the coating surface by using such apparatus.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording medium which may be rapidly stuck to each other by bringing an adhesive and a curing accelerating material into contact with each other in a stage for sticking the information recording media while curing heretofore takes time and productivity is poor if an anaerobic curing type adhesive is used in sticking the media to each other at the time of producing the optical recording medium. SOLUTION: The rapid curing is executed by bringing the adhesive and the curing accelerating material into contact with each other. The curing accelerating material may be included into an org. resin layer 6, reflection cooling layer 5, etc., insofar as these layers are adjacent to the layer of the adhesive 7. The material having the curing acceleration function in the layer itself may otherwise be used as well. The adhesive includes a compd. having, for example, acryloyloxy group or methacryloyloxy group and is mixed with other monomers for adjustment of the modulus of elasticity. Further, an anaerobic curing type initiator and a photopolymn. initiator are used. The curing accelerating material is preferably Al, Cu, Fe, etc., and is preferably included in the form of ions in terms of reaction acceleration. The amt. of the material to be added is adequately 0.001 to 1 pt.wt. per 100 pts.wt. org. resin.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably manufacture a bulkhead with high film thickness uniformity and surface flatness with good productivity by applying a glass plate containing glass powder and an organic binder by a method of discharging it through a base having a slit, and then performing a pattern working. SOLUTION: For applying a glass paste by discharging it through a base having a slit, for example, slit die coating is adapted. According to this method, no waste solution is produced, since only the necessary glass paste quantity can be applied, and the uniformity of the paste film thickness can be enhanced by regulating the discharge quantity at the beginning and the end of the application. A barrier layer can be formed with one-time application. However, the applicability is much affected by the base form, clearance and the like. Therefore, the ratio of the slit space (spacer thickness) of the base A to the clearance B between the base and a substrate is preferably set to 6>=A/B>=0.2.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drastically suppress the surface temp. and temp. difference and to prevent a chucking defect and a transportation error by blowing gas to a substrate and cooling this substrate at the time of photosetting in a stage for producing an optical recording medium by applying a photosetting resin on the substrate and photosetting the resin. SOLUTION: A recording layer is formed by a sputtering method on the substrate having 120mm diameter and 0.6mm thickness. Next, the surface of this recording layer is coated with the UV curing type resin by a spin coating method and the resin is irradiated with UV rays of 900mJ/cm while the surface opposite to the surface irradiated the UV rays is blown with the air of 23 deg.C at a flow rate of 20Nl/min. The amt. of warpage of the substrate after the irradiation with the UV rays attains 50.8μm, the substrate surface temp. of the irradiated surface is 49 deg.C, the surface temp. of the surface opposite to the irradiated surface is 40 deg.C and the temp. difference thereof 9 deg.C. As a result, not only the chucking defect and the transporting error are prevented in the production stage but the photosetting is made possible without impairing the reliability and durability of the recording layer.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a paste applied layer on a whole surface with a uniform height without raising an end of the paste applied layer, by outwardly expanding a paste-delivering groove toward the tip of the delivering groove. SOLUTION: When a paste is applied from a delivering groove, by outwardly expanding the delivering groove toward the tip of the delivering groove, a paste applied layer can be stably formed with a uniform height without raising an end of the applied paste-applied-layer. Since the delivering groove is constituted so that spacer width at each tip of it is L longer than spacer width (c) in a manifold region, the paste having traveled in an upper part of a land region with a uniform height further expands outward by the width L at the tips of the delivering groove. Therefore, thickness of the both ends of the paste delivered from the tip of the base is reduced. As a result, the paste applied layer with a uniform height without raising both ends of the paste applied layer after the application can be formed.

SOLUTION: The photosensitive glass paste consists of glass powder, a photosensitive org. component and two or more org. solvents and the b.p. difference between at least two of the org. solvents is >=20 deg.C. The amts. of the low and high b.p. org. solvents are 10-90 wt.% each of the total amt. of the org. solvents. The total amt. of the org. solvents is 1-50 wt.% of the amt. of the entire photosensitive glass paste. An oligomer or polymer having carboxyl groups and/or unsatd. double bonds in one molecule and a wt. average mol.wt. of 500-100,000 is essentially contained in the photosensitive org. component by 10-90 wt.%.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably manufacture a partition wall whose target line width is as designed by applying a photosensitive glass paste containing glass powders, a photosensitive organic compound, and an organic solvent onto a substrate, setting the amount of the residual organic solvent involved at a specific proportion or less through drying, and forming the partition all through exposure, development, and baking. SOLUTION: A substrate to which a photosensitive glass paste containing 5 to 50 weight parts of a photosensitive organic component, 50 to 95 weight parts of glass powders, 6 to 50 weight parts of an organic solvent, and the like is applied is dried in a horizontal position, with the amount of the remaining organic solvent being 6 wt.% or less, preferably from 0.01 to 6 wt.%. Therefore the unevenness of film thickness, formation of a partition wall thicker than mask line width during exposure, and peeling of the partition wall during development can be prevented. The thickness of one application of the photosensitive glass paste is 50 μm or more, and although application and drying are each performed once or more, one application is enough when using doctor blade method or slit die coating method, resulting in high productivity. To prevent heat polymerization of a monomer or polymer, a drying temperature of 150 deg.C or less is desirable.
