Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide an ionization gauge which can measure all the pressure from an ultra high vacuum area to a hyper vacuum area simply and highly accurately, by reducing the noise current such as an X-ray current or the secondary ion current extensively. CONSTITUTION:Electron guns 8 provided at one end of a cylindrical grid 6, and to inject electrons (e ) accelerated beforehand in the grid 6; an ion collecting electrode 10 provided at the center at the other end of the grid 6, and to collect the positive ions (+) generated by the electrons (e ) flying in the grid 6; and electron collecting electrodes 12 provided at the other end of the grid 6, and to collect the incident electrons (e ) from the other end of the grid 6, after contributing to generate the ions; are provided. And the electron collecting electrodes 12 are extended in a doughnut form around the ion collecting electrode 10, and the electron collecting electrodes 12 and the ion collecting electrode 10 are separated each other by shield members 14.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To easily and exactly measure the maturity degree of fruits by constituting a sound collector in such a manner that a passage communicating with a microphone is closed and a case body is substantially hermetically closed when the fruit to be measured is placed on a stage. CONSTITUTION:The sound collector 1 is installed with the microphone 4 in the box- shaped case body 2 opened 3 in the upper part and is constituted of the stage 5 consisting of a curved supporting surface to be imposed with the sample fruit M on the aperture 3 and an elastic material (rubber) having the passage 6 communicating with the microphone 4. The upper part of the passage 6 is closed by the sample M and the body 2 is hermetically closed when the sample M is placed on the stage 5. The sample M oscillates at the natural oscillation frequency determined by the size and hardness thereof when the sample M is struck by an electrically driving striker 7. The oscillation waves thereof are detected by the microphone 4 and the oscillation waveform (attenuating sine waveform) is amplified and the oscillation frequency is measured from the periodic time of the oscillation waveform in an oscillation frequency measuring circuit 8. The measured oscillation frequency is displayed by a display device 10 and the maturity degree (hardness), i.e. the time good for eating of the sample M are judged. The decision with good S/N is thus executed.
