Abstract:
A drive unit 20 for a power operated vehicle closure 12 has a track 24, a guide 26 moveable along the track, a link 34 attached to the guide at one end and adapted to be attached to the vehicle closure at the opposite end, and a motor assembly 22 for moving the guide along the track. The motor assembly 22 has an electric motor 36 and a speed reducer driven by the electric motor that has a first stage and a second stage. The first stage includes a belt drive 40, 42, 44 and the second stage is a spur gear set 46, 48. Alternatively the first stage is a worm gear 140 and a mating helical gear 142. The worm gear preferably has a high lead angle and a high number of leads. The speed of the electric motor is reduced to about 1000 rpm or less in the first stage permitting the use of spur gears in the second stage while retaining quiet operation.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A construction of a door glass guide in a motor vehicle, wherein a door glass (10) of a three-dimensional curved surface is vertically movably guided, characterized in that:
slide members (14) each having a spherical head portion (14C) being shifted into a compartment (12) are mounted at least at upper end portions of front and rear end edges (10A and 10B) of the door glass (10); a pair of front and rear guide channel portions (18A and 18B) are provided on a door frame (16), the guide channel portions (18A and 18B) having curvatures substantially equal to respective curvatures of the front and rear end edges (10A and 10B) of the door glass (10) in the longitudinal section thereof, for vertically, slidably guiding the slide members (14).
Abstract:
A door closer, comprising a door closer housing mounted to one of a door frame or a door surface and a linkage arm for pivoting the door between open and closed positions. The linkage arm has a first and second end, the first end mounted to the other of the door frame or the door surface. The door closer includes a rotatable connector between the linkage arm and the door closer housing, the linkage arm second end engaging with the rotatable connector. The connector has a rotatable body portion and head protrusion substantially secured in a female receptor to transmit rotation about a longitudinal axis of the connector. One or both of the head protrusion or female receptor has a curved profile and is further movable with respect to the head protrusion to permit limited rotational misalignment of the linkage arm on any axis perpendicular to the connector longitudinal axis.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a swing-gate articulated-arm drive linkage (12), comprising a first articulated arm (14) and a second articulated arm (16), wherein the first articulated arm (14) can be connected at a first end (18) to a motor drive unit (54) of a swing-gate articulated-arm drive (46) for driving a rotational motion of the first articulated arm (14) about a first axis of rotation (58) and is connected at the second end (20) to a first end of the second articulated arm (22) by means of an articulated-arm joint (24) in such a way that the first and the second articulated arm (14, 16) can be rotated in relation to each other about a second axis of rotation (60), which extends substantially parallel to the first axis of rotation (58), wherein the second articulated arm (16) is to be connected at a second end (26) thereof, by means of a gate joint (28), to a swing-gate leaf (42) of a swing gate (40) to be driven. In order to be able to drive a larger variety of swing gates in a simple and safe manner and with low maintenance, it is proposed that the articulated-arm joint (24) is a multi-axis joint (70), which also permits, in addition to the relative rotation of the first articulated arm (14) and the second articulated arm (16) about the second axis of rotation (60), a relative pivoting of the first and the second articulated arm (14, 16) about at least one additional axis (74).
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a rail and a door roller of a window and door system and a window operation apparatus for windows and doors using the same. The rail and the door roller of a window and door system and the window operation apparatus for windows and doors using the same according to the present invention include: one or more upper linear rail units 1 which are installed on an upper end of a window casing, are opened downward so as to rectilinearly guide a door roller 3 that is installed on an upper end of a window frame and has a vertical shaft 3a or a diagonal shaft 3b, have guides 4 that are vertically or diagonally formed at both sides thereof, and are rectilinearly formed to have a predetermined length; and one or more upper meandering rail units 2 which diagonally or curvedly guide an upper door roller 3, which rectilinearly moves on the upper linear rail unit 1, so as to operate the window frame in a horizontal direction, are installed to be connected to one side end of the upper linear rail unit 1 so as to be connected to the guides 4 of the upper linear rail unit 1 with the same cross section, and have guides 4 that are diagonally or curvedly extended.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a drive device (20) for entrance and exit devices for public transportation vehicles, comprising a drive unit (22) that is arranged in and drives a rotary column (24) rotating about a rotational axis Z-Z during opening and closing operations, said column opening and closing the entrance and exit device. The drive unit (22) is held on the vehicle via a retaining component (40). The retaining component (40) acts as counter bearing for a torque of the drive unit (22). Between the drive unit (22) and the retaining component (40), a coupling device (72) is arranged, which enables a rotation of the drive unit (22) about the rotational axis Z-Z when a threshold value of the torque acting upon the drive unit is exceeded. Between the coupling device (72) and the retaining component (40), a bearing is provided, which enables a tumbling motion of the rotary column (24) with the coupling device (72) and prevents a rotation about the rotational axis Z-Z.
