A piezoelectric material is described. The piezoelectric material comprises aluminum nitride (AlN) doped with ytterbium (Yb), an atomic percentage of Yb in the AlN being greater than or equal to approximately 10.0% and less than or equal to approximately 27.0%. Piezoelectric layers comprising the piezoelectric material may be used in bulk acoustic wave (BAW) acoustic resonators, and surface acoustic wave (SAW) acoustic resonators. The BAW acoustic resonators and SAW acoustic resonators can be used in a variety of applications.

Provided are an electronic device employing a polymer nanosheet, having an electronic element and a conductive wiring that are connected to each other in a solder-free manner, and exhibiting a high conformability and adhesiveness to an object for attaching including a biological tissue such as skin; and a method for manufacturing the same. The electronic device includes the electronic element; and the polymer nanosheet adhering to the electronic element. Specifically, the polymer nanosheet adheres to the electronic element in a manner such that one surface of the electronic element is entirely covered by the polymer nanosheet. It is preferred that the polymer nanosheet have a thickness of smaller than 1 μm. Further, a conductive wiring capable of being electrically connected to the electronic element; and a power source for supplying power to the electronic element, may also be formed on the polymer nanosheet.

A parallelization compiling method for generating a segmented program from a sequential program includes assigning macro tasks included in the sequential program to cores included in the multi-core processor in order to generate the segmented program, adding a new macro task to the sequential program or deleting one of the macro tasks from the sequential program, and compiling the sequential program into the segmented program in response to the adding of the new macro task under a condition that the macro tasks assigned to the cores do not migrate among the cores or compiling the sequential program into the segmented program in response to the deleting of the one of the macro tasks under a condition that remains of the macro tasks assigned to the cores do not migrate among the cores.

It is provided a processor system comprising at least one processor core including a processor, a memory and an accelerator. The memory includes an instruction area, a synchronization flag area and a data area. The accelerator starts, even if the processor is executing another processing, acceleration processing and executes read instruction in a case where the read instruction is a flag checking instruction and a flag indicating the completion of predetermined processing has been written; and stores the data subjected to the acceleration processing after completion of the acceleration processing, and further writes a flag indicating the completion of the acceleration processing. The processor starts, even if the accelerator is executing another processing, read instruction corresponding to a flag in a case where the read instruction is the flag checking instruction and it is confirmed that the flag indicating the completion of the acceleration processing has been written.

A surface chemical treatment apparatus provided with: a first conduit having an opening at one end and communicating with a liquid supply means at the other end; a second conduit having at one end an opening that surrounds the opening of the first conduit and communicating with a liquid suction means at the other end; and a moving mechanism for moving the openings of the first and second conduits relative to the solid phase surface, so as to make a surface chemical treatment possible in a fine pattern by allowing the patterning solution to be dispensed through the opening of the first conduit while allowing the solution to be suctioned up together with the surrounding liquid phase or gas phase medium through the opening of the second conduit that surrounds the opening of the first conduit and, thus, preventing seepage of the solution in all directions.

The present invention provides a method for selectively separating a straight-chain conjugated diene with high purity from a mixture containing the straight-chain conjugated diene and at least one type of straight-chain olefin. The method involves separating the straight-chain conjugated diene from the mixture containing the straight-chain conjugated diene and the straight-chain olefin using a zeolite membrane composite. The composite contains a porous support and a zeolite layer formed on the surface and in the fine pores of the support, and the zeolite contains an alkali metal cation.

Materials having charge-storing properties and made variously of dipyridine-fused benzoquinones of formula (1) below or derivatives thereof, dipyridine-fused benzoquinones of formula (4) below or derivatives thereof, or dipyridine-fused benzoquinone skeleton-containing polymers are provided. In the formulas, Ar1 and Ar2 are each independently a pyridine ring that forms together with two carbon atoms on a benzoquinone skeleton, or a derivative thereof. When used as electrode active materials, these charge storage materials are capable of providing high-performance batteries possessing a high capacity, high rate characteristics and high cycle characteristics.

A self-healing wire includes, an electric wire arranged on a substrate, and a hybrid structure in which the electric wire is covered with at least one fluid selected from the group consisting of a fluid having conductive particles dispersed therein and a fluid having metal ions dissolved therein, formed on a healing portion for a crack to be generated in the electric wire. And a stretchable device includes the self-healing wire formed on a stretchable base material and an electric element mounted only on a base material higher in rigidity than the stretchable base material. Even when a crack is generated in the electric wire due to stretching of the substrate having flexibility, the crack is bridged by the conductive particles or a solid metal deposited from the metal ions in the fluid. Thus the self-healing wire and the stretchable device having both high conductivity and high stretchability are provided.
