Abstract: Provided are a water purifying apparatus and a refrigerator including the same. The water purifying apparatus includes a filter configured to purify incoming water and discharge the purified water, a head in which the filter is detachably coupled and a water inlet portion and a water outlet portion are formed, and a shaft provided inside the head and rotatably mounted between the water inlet portion and the water outlet portion, the shaft being provided with a bypass flow path directly connecting the water inlet portion and the water outlet portion and a filtering flow path connected so that water flowing in through the water inlet portion is discharged to the water outlet portion via the filter.

Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for a vehicle fluid filter head. The filter head can be attached to two or more filters to filter vehicle fluid, and provide a variety of optional arrangements for coupling inlet and outlet hoses. A plurality of inlets and outlets can be disposed on the filter head at different sides of the filter head. A pair of filter headers can be disposed on a first side to receive filter. A first inlet and outlet can be disposed on a second side, and a second inlet and outlet can be disposed on a third side. Respective inlet are fluidly coupled with an inlet passage in the head, which is fluidly coupled with an intake portion of the filter headers. Respective outlets are fluidly coupled with an outlet passage in the head, which is fluidly coupled with an outflow portion of the filter headers.

Abstract: A water-treatment cartridge (3) for a water-treatment device, wherein the water-treatment device comprises a head with a port for feeding water for treatment to the cartridge and a port for discharging water from the cartridge (3) after treatment. Abstract: A filtration system interconnection structure having a filter manifold including a sump housing and a first correlated magnet located on or connected to a portion of the manifold, and a filter cartridge including a filter media, first and second end caps sealed to the filter media, and a second, paired correlated magnet located on or connected to the filter cartridge housing body. The first and second correlated magnets are interconnected via magnetic communication upon insertion of the filter cartridge into the sump housing, and upon movement of the filter cartridge into an alignment position, the correlated magnet located on or connected to the manifold is permitted to translate as a result of the magnetic communication. The polarity profiles of the paired correlated magnets are aligned such that a repulsion force is created when the filter cartridge is inserted within the manifold sump housing.

Abstract: A water purifier structure includes a container assembly and a buffer unit mounted in the container assembly. The container assembly includes a housing and a cap unit. The housing has a first receiving section and a second receiving section. The second receiving section of the housing is provided with a retaining portion. The buffer unit is mounted in the second receiving section of the housing and includes a positioning ring secured in the retaining portion of the housing, and a cushioning member mounted in the positioning ring. The cushioning member is elastically movable in the positioning ring. When the cushioning member is compressed by a force, the cushioning member is contracted and elastically deformed toward the second receiving section of the housing, to form a buffering force.

Abstract: What is provided is a water filter assembly comprising a filter cartridge. The filter cartridge comprises a filter head comprising an inlet port; an outlet port; and a filter key integrally formed on the filter head between the inlet port and the outlet port. The filter key consists of exactly one laterally extending finger that is integrally formed on the filter key. The filter key is integral with the filter head as a one piece construction to form a more water-tight seal on the filter cartridge and help prevent the filter key from being separated from the filter cartridge. The finger may have a substantially polygon-shaped cross-section to more efficiently and quickly interlock the filter key with components on a filter receiver. As a result, the filter cartridge may be readily attached to and removed from the filter, while being securely enough engaged to avoid unwanted uncoupling.

Abstract: A filter assembly includes a manifold having an inlet and outlet port. The filter assembly further includes a filter cartridge. The filter cartridge includes a casing and a filter casing disposed within the casing. The filter cartridge also includes a gear rack, and an inlet and outlet port. The filter assembly further includes an electric motor configured to move the filter cartridge along an axial direction by rotating a gear coupled to the electric motor such that the gear meshes with the gear rack. The filter cartridge is movable between a first position in which the filter cartridge and manifold are not in fluid communication, and a second position in which the filter cartridge and the manifold are in fluid communication. A refrigerator appliance having the filter assembly is also provided.
