Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a substrate for a curved display panel, the curved display panel, and a curved display device. A substrate for a curved display panel is provided. The curved display panel includes a plurality of opening areas arranged in an array. The substrate includes a first base substrate which is curved; a strip-shaped black matrix positioned on the first base substrate and extending along a direction approximately parallel to a curved edge of the first base substrate; and a blocking portion positioned on the first base substrate. An orthographic projection of the blocking portion on the first base substrate is within an orthographic projection region of the opening area on the first base substrate.

Abstract: An enclosure for mounting a substrate of a liquid crystal display, comprises a base frame providing a bottom wall and a supporting platform extending from the bottom wall, the base frame further including a first peripheral wall extending upward. A bezel frame is interengaged with the base frame, and includes a lateral wall corresponding to the first peripheral wall of the base frame, and defines a retaining gap between the lateral wall of the bezel frame and the supporting platform of the base frame. Wherein the bezel includes at least a first resilient tab, configured with a first prong, and a second resilient tab, configured with a second prong, and symmetrically opposite to the first prong, formed on the lateral wall of the bezel frame and extending into the retaining gap, wherein each of the first and second prongs forms an obtuse angle with the lateral wall.

Abstract: A curved display comprises a first substrate 100 and a second substrate 200 that are disposed opposite to each other and both curved along the first direction. The first substrate includes data lines 11 and gate lines 12. The second substrate includes light transmission parts 202 and a light shielding part 203. The light shielding part includes first light shielding portions 203b extending in the first direction and second light shielding portions 203a extending in a second direction. The second light shielding portions include a central light shielding portion a5, a first end light shielding portion al disposed on one end side in the first direction, and a middle light shielding portion disposed therebetween. A width in the first direction of the middle light shielding portion is greater than or equal to that of the central light shielding portion and the first end light shielding portion.

Abstract: A backplane structure includes a backplane and a curved supporting frame. The curved supporting frame includes a first and a second region, wherein, a curvature radius of the second region is less than a curvature radius of the first region. The curvature radiuses of the supporting frame are evenly changed from the first region toward the second region. The backplane is a flat-thin sheet, and the supporting frame is installed at a surface of the backplane and bends the backplane to form a curved surface having an even curvature radius. A curved display device includes a display panel and a backplane structure. Different positions of the supporting frame provide different curvature radiuses to apply different supporting forces near or away from the supporting frame such that all positions of the backplane can maintain a target curvature radius. Curvature radiuses of the backplane structure and the curved display device are equal.

A method of manufacturing a liquid crystal alignment film of the present invention includes a step of arranging a liquid crystal alignment agent to a heat-shrinkable film satisfying a heat shrinkage rate of 5% to 75%, and a step of drying the liquid crystal alignment agent arranged at 40° C. to 150° C. so as to form the liquid crystal alignment film.

Abstract: The present invention provides a curved liquid crystal display panel. In the curved liquid crystal display panel of the present invention, a TFT substrate is provided thereon with a black matrix corresponding to a trunk portion of a pixel electrode such that portions of the sub-pixels within two opposite side zones of the curved liquid crystal display panel that generate dark patterns and portions of the sub-pixels within a central zone of the curved liquid crystal display panel having the same width as that of the dark patterns are shielded, whereby through sacrifice of a portion of aperture ratio, the brightness of the curved liquid crystal display panel is made homogenized through all areas thereof thereby preventing brightness difference between the central zone and two opposite side zones of the curved liquid crystal display panel.
