    Abstract: A method, computer program, and computer system for enabling peer-to-peer media streaming using service enabler architecture layer (SEAL). The method may be executed by one or more processors, and the method may include receiving, by a vertical application layer (VAL) server, a request for a media session negotiation between one or more client devices, and retrieving, by the vertical application layer (VAL) server, transport layer information associated with each of the one or more client devices using network address translation traversal. The method may further include transmitting, by the vertical application layer (VAL) server, agreed session description protocol (SDP) parameters based on the transport layer information, wherein the agreed session description protocol (SDP) parameters are used to establish a peer-to-peer media streaming session.

The apparatus includes processing circuitry configured to decode at least one first key picture of pictures from a multi-view bitstream. The pictures correspond to different views. The processing circuitry determines first feature information of content in the at least one first key picture. The processing circuitry decode, based on the multi-view bitstream, a first feature change to the first feature information. The first feature change indicates a content change between a key picture in the at least one first key picture and a first picture. The processing circuitry reconstructs the first picture based on the decoded first feature change, the first feature information, and the key picture in the at least one first key picture.

    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide methods and apparatuses for mesh coding (e.g., compression and decompression). In some examples, an apparatus for mesh coding includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry decodes, using a point cloud compression (PCC) decoder and from a bitstream, a point cloud that includes points corresponding to at least one of vertices in a mesh or sampling points of polygons in the mesh. The processing circuitry determines, based on the point cloud, estimated connectivity information of the vertices in the mesh, and generate, a reconstructed mesh frame based on the point cloud and the estimated connectivity information.

    Abstract: Methods and devices for encoding a video stream are provided, a method includes storing previously decoded pictures of the video stream in a decoded picture buffer, including a plurality of first pictures of a same temporal sub-layer, the plurality of first pictures including at least one sub-layer reference picture for predicting a current picture of the video stream; identifying a network abstract layer (NAL) unit type of a picture of the plurality of first pictures; removing, based on the NAL unit type of the picture identified, the picture from the decoded picture buffer; and encoding the current picture using the decoded picture buffer. The encoding includes: predicting the current picture using one or more of the at least one sub-layer reference picture that is stored within the decoded picture buffer, after removing the picture from the decoded picture buffer.

    Abstract: A method of video encoding includes, prior to encoding a first tile of s plurality of tiles of a current picture, initializing a shared row buffer that is shared among multiple processor threads associated with the first tile. The method also includes encoding a first unit of a plurality of units in a first row of the first tile by a first processor thread and using a corresponding first HMVP buffer. The method also includes, when all of the plurality of blocks in the first unit have been encoded, copying contents of the first HMVP buffer into the shared row buffer, copying contents of the shared row buffer into a second HMVP buffer, starting encoding of a unit in a second row of the plurality of rows by the second processor thread using the second HMVP buffer, and resetting the first HMVP buffer.

The block vector points to a first reference block of the current block in a current picture. An operation is performed on at least one component of the block vector based on the first reference block being outside a search range of the current block. The block vector is modified by the operation to point to a second reference block that is within the search range for the current block. The current block is encoded based on the modified block vector. The processing circuitry determines whether a current block in a current picture of a coded video sequence is a small block based on a block size threshold. At least one redundancy check with a motion vector candidate in the motion vector predictor list is performed in the construction of the motion vector predictor list based on whether the current block is the small block. The current block is reconstructed based on the constructed motion vector predictor list.
