Abstract: A tow prepreg manufacturing apparatus applies resin to an original tow of reinforcing fibers. The tow prepreg manufacturing apparatus includes an oiling roller, a scraper, a resin reservoir, a tube pump, and a controller. The oiling roller is supplied with resin while rotating at a predetermined rotation speed. The scraper adjusts the shape of the resin supplied onto the oiling roller. The resin reservoir supplies resin to the oiling roller. The tube pump discharges resin to the resin reservoir. The controller controls the tube pump so that the amount of resin held in the resin reservoir remains constant and controls the rotation speed of the oiling roller so that a resin content of a wound tow prepreg becomes equal to a target resin content.

Abstract: A dry composition comprising 2 to 30 weight percent R2O (wherein R2O is an alkali metal oxide, K2O, Na2O, Li2O or mixtures thereof); 10 to 74 weight percent SiO2; and 23 to 79 weight percent B2O3. Aqueous solutions and/or colloidal suspensions (thus referred to as solution-suspensions) are used to blend to give a liquid-binder which, on drying, contains the composition within the range given above in the R2O—SiO2—B2O3 system. The dry composition is mixed with sufficient H2O to form the solution-suspensions. As described herein H2O may also be present in some additional additive.

Abstract: A coil coating method for multilayer coating of a continuous metal strip, which is disposed in the strip passage, in which on a flat side of the metal strip, a curable polymer primer is applied by means of a roller application and cured in order to form an electrically insulating primer layer and a curable polymer varnish is applied onto said primer layer by means of roller application and cured in order to form an electrically insulating varnish layer, wherein at least one at least electrically conductive conductor track is printed on at least some areas between the primer layer and the varnish layer is proposed. In order to increase the reproducibility of the coil coating method, it is proposed that the conductor track be printed on some areas of the pre-cured primer layer and that the conductor track and varnish be applied using a wet-on-wet process.

Abstract: The invention relates to a process for selectively treating parts of the surface of a porous dental zirconia article, the process comprising the steps of providing a liquid composition and a porous 3-dimensional dental zirconia article having an outer and inner surface, applying the liquid composition to only a part the outer surface and/or inner surface of the porous dental zirconia article, the liquid composition comprising a whitening agent comprising a phosphorous containing component, the phosphorous containing component comprising a phosphate, phosphone or phosphine moiety, with the proviso that at least one P-O unit of the phosphate, phosphone or phosphine moiety is dissociable or able to otherwise interact with zirconia.The invention also relates to a dental zirconia article obtainable or obtained by such a process and a kit of parts comprising a container containing a certain liquid composition and a dental zirconia mill blank useful for producing a porous dental zirconia article.

Abstract: An anti-corrosion coating to protect against corrosion, comprising: a high-density protective coating on a substrate which is prone to corrosion, preferably metals and/or alloys thereof, containing pre-condensed coat-forming alkoxysilane precursors, wherein the molecules of the pre-condensed coat-forming alkoxysilane precursors are built up from monomer units selected from the group formed by coat-forming alkoxysilane precursors, wherein the molecules of the pre-condensed coat-forming alkoxysilane precursors are cross-linked with each other, wherein the high-density protective coating has a coating thickness of at least 50 μm. The high-density protective coating formed by an inorganic-organic hybrid material, which is preferably produced without solvents (i.e. without the addition of solvents, in particular organic solvents), is comprised of at least one coat-forming alkoxysilane precursor, in particular selected from the group formed by trialkoxysilane precursors.

Abstract: A coating method of reflective film is first to prepare a glass beads film and then select a color to be coated. The color is composed of plural primary colors in fixed ratio, making the color have a standard ratio, which is obtainable from an original database. Next, ratios of the primary colors are respectively adjusted to form a printing ratio according to color fastness, permeability and light barrier property of each primary color attached to the glass beads and then, each primary color is orderly spray coated on the glass beads film to form a coating layer with micro-printing technique in accordance with the printing ratio, thus completing manufacturing of a reflective film with high transmittance and high wide angle.

Abstract: An applicator assembly for treating a surface includes a material applicator configured to dispense a treatment material on a surface and an applicator clamp configured to support and position a dispensing end of the material applicator. The applicator assembly further includes an applicator bracket configured to slidably attach the material applicator and applicator clamp to an assembly support frame. Additionally, an automated applicator actuator operatively attached to the assembly support frame and applicator bracket manipulates the applicator bracket between a first position and a second position.

The cartridge (124) is configured to be positioned between the inner tubular sleeve wall (114) and the outer tubular sleeve wall (112) and between the twist-lock pressure cap (150) and the valve (140).
