    Abstract: A method of wastewater reutilization by which reusable water can be stably obtained from a wastewater. Ozone is added to a wastewater, such as water resulting from sewage treatment, in such a small amount as to result in a residual ozone concentration as measured before membrane filtration of 0.01-1.0 mg/L. Ozone is thus brought into contact with fine solids contained in the wastewater to alter the surface properties of the fine solids so that the solids are easily to coagulate. Thereafter, a coagulant, e.g., PACl, is added from a coagulant addition device (3). The fine solids are coagulated in a coagulation tank (5) or a line mixer and the resultant water is subjected to membrane filtration with an ozone-resistant separation membrane (6) such as ceramic membrane. Thus, reusable water is obtained which has a residual ozone concentration, as measured after filtration through the membrane, less than 0.5 mg/L.

    Abstract: An ozone supply module for supplying ozonated water to an appliance that typically includes: an appliance module housing having a water inlet; a water outlet; and an electrical connection for receiving electrical power; a proton exchange membrane cell positioned within the housing; and a water conveying system within the module housing and operably connected to both the water inlet and water outlet. The water conveying system is typically configured to allow water to flow through the deionizing resin and into contact with the proton exchange membrane cell. The module and the proton exchange membrane cell receive electrical power from a home appliance when the module is operably connected to the appliance. The module produces water that contains (dissolved) ozone to be delivered to a chamber within the appliance when the module is in the engaged position with the appliance. The appliance is typically a residential appliance.

    Abstract: This is a scalable water cleansing system intended for very low technology primitive communities buildable for between $600 and $1,000 of parts. A gravity feed system is contemplated with one or more of an initial filtering stage(s), a settling stage, a UV treatment stage, and an ozonator stage. A stand-alone power system with solar power needing no infrastructure is contemplated to enhance purification. The system can improve the worst of water quality, including for small groups; and under some conditions to end up with clean water of a quality found in developed countries with mature water systems.For water to the site in communities with low precipitation, the water brought in would be emptied into the initial stage of the water cleansing system, and the person who brought the water would draw from the last stage most or all of the amount of water carried in.

    Abstract: An ozone generating device includes three or more cooling channels each having a through-hole formed in a central region thereof and a coolant flow path formed therein. The cooling channels are arranged side by side such that the through-holes thereof overlap with one another. The ozone generating device further includes electric discharge units interposed between the cooling channels adjoining each other and configured to generate electric discharge when applied with a high voltage. Each of the electric discharge units has a central hole formed in alignment with the through-hole. The ozone generating device is configured such that, when the electric discharge units are applied with a high voltage with the cooling channels kept grounded, oxygen supplied to the electric discharge units is decomposed into ozone which in turn is discharged through an internal space defined by the through-hole and the central hole.

    Abstract: The present invention provides an ozonated water generator which can generate highly soluble and highly concentrated ozonated water in an efficient and simple manner. In an ozonated water generator comprising a supply tube for transmitting a treated liquid, a gas/liquid mixing device provided in the path of the supply tube, and an ozone supply structure for supplying ozone to the gas/liquid mixing device. The gas/liquid mixing device is provided with a magnet for creating magnetic force in the interior. Creating magnetic force in both the treated liquid and the ozone makes it possible to generate highly soluble and highly concentrated ozonated water in an efficient and simple manner.
