Abstract: A polyacetal resin composition contains a polyacetal copolymer resin (A) in an amount of 100 parts by mass, the polyacetal copolymer resin having a hemiformal terminal group amount of 0.8 mmol/kg or less, a hindered phenol-based antioxidant (B) in an amount of 0.2 to 2.0 parts by mass, at least one of magnesium oxide or zinc oxide (C) in an amount of more than 2.0 parts by mass and 20 parts by mass or less, a carbon-based conductive additive (D) in an amount of 0.3 to 2.5 parts by mass, and polyalkylene glycol (E) in an amount of 0.5 to 3.0 parts by mass, wherein the carbon-based conductive additive (D) is one selected from a group consisting of only a carbon nano-structure (D1) and a combination of the carbon nano-structure (D1) and carbon black (D2) having a BET specific surface area of 300 m2/g or more.

Abstract: Provided is a thermally conductive silicone gel composition having high thermal conductivity, excellent extrudability and mixing stability, resistance to separation of each liquid even in a two-component package, stable storage, and superior gap fill properties for heat dissipating components, and the like. A multi-component thermally conductive silicone gel composition comprises: (A-1) an alkenyl group-containing organopolysiloxane having a degree of polymerization of 5 to 100; (A-2) an alkenyl group-containing organopolysiloxane having a degree of polymerization of 400 or more; (B) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane; (C) a catalyst for hydrosilylation reaction; (D) a thermally conductive filler; (E) a silane coupling agent, and the like; and (F) an organopolysiloxane having a hydrolyzable silyl group at the end of the molecular chain. A mixture viscosity of component (A-1) and component (A-2) is within a range of 1.15 to 5.50 times the viscosity of the component (A-1) at 25° C.

Abstract: Provided is a seal material having excellent non-adherence to metal surfaces. The seal material is formed of a cross-linked rubber that is obtained through cross-linking of a cross-linkable rubber composition containing a binary fluororubber, a carbon material, and a polyol cross-linker. The carbon material includes one or more carbon nanotubes. The cross-linked rubber has an adhesion strength of 2 N or less to a metal surface after being heated at 250° C. for 70 hours while in contact with the metal surface.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to multi-layered elastomer-based liners. In at least one embodiment, a coated substrate includes a substrate and a first elastomer coating disposed on the substrate. The first elastomer coating is substantially free of sulfur and includes a first elastomer selected from the group consisting of a polyurea, a polyurethane, a polyurea-polyurethane copolymer, and combinations thereof. The coated substrate includes a second elastomer coating disposed on the first coating. The second elastomer coating includes a second elastomer selected from the group consisting of a polyurea, a polyurethane, a polyurea-polyurethane copolymer, and combinations thereof. The first elastomer is the same as or different than the second elastomer and at least one of the first elastomer or the second elastomer is a polyurea-polyurethane copolymer.

Abstract: Provided is an alumina particle for use as a filler for resin compositions, which can improve the thermal conductivity of the resin composition over conventional resin compositions. It is an alumina particle having a particle diameter D50 of more than 100 μm at a cumulative value of 50% from the fine particle side in the cumulative particle size distribution, and having an α-alumina rate of 90% or more; wherein the α-alumina is a monocrystalline alumina. The alumina particle preferably has a Na content of 800 ppm or less. In addition, the alumina particle preferably has a particle diameter D10 of 70 to 135 μm at a cumulative value of 10% from the fine particle side in the cumulative particle size distribution.

Abstract: Provided is a thermoplastic resin composition, including (a) 100 parts by weight of a thermoplastic resin including 80-100% by weight of a base resin and 0-20% by weight of a reinforcing resin; (b) 2-60 parts by weight of linear carbon fibers having an average diameter of 1-15 μm; (c) 1-5 parts by weight of carbon nanofibrils having a BET specific surface area of 200-400 m2/g; (d) 1-15 parts by weight of carbon nanoplates; and (e) 1-25 parts by weight of metal powder, a method of preparing the thermoplastic resin composition, and an injection-molded article manufactured using the thermoplastic resin composition. The thermoplastic resin composition has excellent mechanical properties, e.g., impact strength, and also excellent conductivity, heat resistance, and electromagnetic wave shielding capacity, particularly high shielding efficiency against high-frequency electromagnetic waves, and thus can be used as automobile, electric, and electronic parts, and as a substitute for aluminum alloys and magnesium alloys.
