Abstract: A plug for provision of power includes a housing forming a receiving cavity with two opposite sites in a vertical direction which is compatible with a standard plug connector with twelve contacts on each site and a first and second rows of contacts on the sides while in diagonally symmetrical manner. Each contact includes a contacting section, and a connecting section for directly connecting to a corresponding wire. Each row of contacts is categorized with a pair of power contacts, a pair of grounding contacts and a specific contact without any high speed differential pair. Two pair of power contacts of both two rows are electrically connected together either via direct mechanical connection via vertical extensions or via indirect electrical connection via the latch which has a pair of side arms extending into the receiving cavity at two opposite transverse ends.

Abstract: An electrical contact for use with an electrical connector includes a conducting part and a supporting part wherein the conducting part has a better conduction characteristic than the supporting part while the supporting part has a better resiliency/strength characteristic than the conducting part. The conducting part includes a main body, an upper contacting arm extending upwardly from the main body and a lower contacting arm extending downwardly from the main body. The supporting part includes a secondary body, an upper supporting arm upwardly extending from the secondary body and a lower supporting arm downwardly extend from the secondary body. The main body and the secondary body are engaged together securely. The end of the upper contacting arm and that of the upper supporting arm are coupled together and the end of the lower contacting arm and that of the lower supporting arm are coupled together.

Abstract: An electrical connector for mating with the CPU unit, includes an insulative housing with a plurality of passageways extending therethrough in the vertical direction. A plurality of contacts are disposed within the corresponding passageways, respectively. Each contact includes opposite first retaining section and second retaining section with an upward resilient contacting section linked therebetween, and a soldering section extending downwardly from the first retaining section. The contacting section includes opposite first contacting part unitarily extending from the first retaining section, and second contacting part unitarily extending from the second retaining section. The CPU unit forms a plurality of metal-coated recesses in an underside to receive the contacting section of the corresponding contacts, respectively. The first retaining section is essentially immovable in the passageway while the second retaining section is essentially movable relative to the housing in response to mating with the CPU.

Abstract: A planar inverted-F antenna includes an antenna body including a grounding portion, a first and a second radiating arm extending in a lengthwise direction substantially, a coaxial cable and a metal foil attached the grounding portion. Abstract: An electrical connector assembly is adapted for electrical connecting and retained on a wireless module with a receptacle RF connector mounted on an end of the wireless module is provided. The assembly includes a coaxial cable connector including a connector end and a coaxial cable extending from the connector end and a retention member including a main base and a retention cavity in front of the main base, the main base defining a corresponding cable receiving groove through a front end and a rear end of the main base. The retention cavity further defines a projecting portion elastically pressing against a surface of the end of the wireless module when the end of the wireless module, the receptacle RF connector and the connector end of the coaxial cable connector are receiving in the retention cavity and the coaxial cable go through the cable receiving groove.
