Abstract:
A technology is described for determining a position of a HBC (Human Body Channel) sensor. An example method may include receiving signal data for a radio signal from a first transmitting HBC sensor transmitted over a human body channel. A signal loss of the radio signal can be calculated using the signal data received from the first transmitting HBC sensor, where the signal loss may be a function of distance of the first transmitting HBC sensor from a receiver. A distance of the first transmitting HBC sensor from the receiver can then be determined based in part on the signal loss and a relative position of the first transmitting HBC sensor can be identified based in part on the distance between the first transmitting HBC sensor and the receiver.
Abstract:
Techniques for connecting using NFC communications are provided. Specifically, methods are presented, that when taken alone or together, provide a device or group of devices with a secure way of transferring data from a wireless device to a reader. The present disclosure includes a method that provides a wireless device with network connectivity options that enable a more secure means for using NFC communications for completing a secure transaction using a secondary code.
Abstract:
Techniques for voltage regulation in a system, method, and apparatus are described herein. An apparatus for voltage regulation in a wireless power receiver may include a rectifier having an output voltage. The apparatus may also include voltage compensation logic including at least one capacitor to reduce voltage variation of the output voltage from the rectifier.
Abstract:
Some demonstrative embodiments include apparatuses, systems and/or methods of wireless power transfer. For example, an apparatus may include a wireless power controller to communicate between a Wireless Power Receiver (WPR) and a Wireless Power Transmitter (WPT) an indication of a requested amount of power to be provided from the WPT to the WPR via a wireless power signal, said indication is in the form of a load modulation event within a predefined time interval, said load modulation event comprises a change in a level of a magnetic field of said wireless power signal, a duration of said load modulation event is based on the requested amount of power to be provided from the WPT to the WPR.
Abstract:
Techniques for coil configuration in a wireless power transmitter in a system, method, and apparatus are described herein. An apparatus for coil configuration in a wireless power transmitter may include a transmitting coil comprising an inner portion and an outer portion, and a switch configured to initiate current on the inner portion based on a detected condition.
Abstract:
Techniques for wirelessly charging small power receiving units are disclosed. An example power receiving unit includes a transportation mechanism to enable the power receiving unit to move and a wireless communication system that enables the power receiving unit to communicate with a plurality of other power receiving units. The power receiving unit is a master unit and the other power receiving units are nodes that take commands from the master unit. The power receiving unit also includes a controller to command the nodes to form a composite receive coil over a power transmitting unit and communicate with the power transmitting unit to start a charging session.
Abstract:
Described herein are architectures, platforms and methods for offloading process or application from a near field communication (NFC) master device for proxy delegation to a proxy NFC device.
