    Abstract: A low pulsation pump device has a pulse motor, two plungers adapted to be driven by the pulse motor, a pressure sensor disposed on the output side of the plungers, a storage for storing values of pressures detected by the pressure sensor during each of a number of periods, a high speed region during which the rotational speed of the pulse motor is increased. The pulse control has an optimization function which determines, on the basis of pressure information which was obtained during the last period, the location of a high speed region in each period in such a manner as to reduce pulsations.

    Abstract: Light from a light source is dispersed by a grating. Two multichannel light detectors are arranged for detecting the dispersed light. One light detector detects the first order of interference and the other light detector detects the second order of interference in overlapping wavelength ranges.     Abstract: A spectrophosphorimeter with a single spectrometer so as to obviate the need of a couple of spectrometers of conventional spectrophosphorimeters, wherein one spectrometer is operated as an excitation-side spectrometer only when the light is allowed to pass a light interceptor, and the other spectrometer works as a phosphorescence-side spectrometer only when the light is substantially interrupted.     Abstract: A double monochrometer comprises a main monochrometer including a plane grating and an auxiliary monochrometer including a concave grating. The concave grating is disposed on the entrance or exit optical axis of the main monochrometer. Preferably, the angular dispersion of the concave grating is selected to be smaller than that of the plane grating.
