Abstract: A footbath has a base member defining a platform. A flexible continuous side wall extends from a proximal end region connected about a periphery of the base member to a distal end region. The side wall has a collapsed position and an extended position. The platform of the base member and the side wall cooperate to define a bath chamber for retaining water with the bath chamber sized to receive a body part. A retention member is supported by the base member to extend from the base member to the distal end region of the side wall to retain the side wall in the extended position.

Abstract: The application provides for a vibrating foot massager that resembles a common shoe. This vibrating foot massager has a number of vibrating motors which can be placed in a variety of combinations within the sole of the shoe. Preferably, the vibrating foot massager will be equipped with a power source so the entire device will be portable. This will enable a user to enjoy the benefits of receiving a foot massage while on the go. The vibrating foot massager is also equipped with a power switch such that when the motors are not in use, the device operates as a functional shoe.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for controlling infrared radiation (IR) sources of a sauna including tuning IR wavelength-ranges and radiated power-levels of IR sources, and directing IR to locations on a user's body. In one illustrative embodiment, a sauna may be provided having adjustable heat sources to emit IR at any wavelength resulting in a desirable radiation treatment for the sauna user. In another illustrative embodiment, a method is provided for tuning IR sources in a sauna.

Abstract: The invention generally involves an apparatus and system for heating or warming instruments. The system includes an electrically heated carrying case for transporting instruments, and an electrically heated vessel for containing a fluid to be used in conjunction with the instruments. The carrying case and the vessel each include: a heating element, one or more sensors (i.e. to maintain a desired temperature) and a circuitry in communication with a user interface for controlling the device's operation. This system facilitates the warming or heating of instruments to a desirable temperature to avoid any undesirable interruptions that may be caused by the discomfort of experiencing a temperature differential upon touching the instrument against the body.

The massage device may include an elastically extensible and bendable connector element and at least two rolling massage elements. Abstract: A medical treatment device and method provide relief from symptoms of peripheral neuropathy and/or vascular dysfunction. The device provides pressure along an inner surface of a human limb of a user, so that at least a portion of the pressure is derived from the weight of the user seated atop the device, and includes a frame for providing support of the device on a floor and one or more curved extensions extending above a center of the frame and downward toward the floor and configured to contact the inner surface of the limb of the user so that weight of the limb supplies at least some of the pressure. The treatment method includes seating a patient atop the device and maintaining the pressure for a treatment interval to provide relief from the symptoms of the peripheral neuropathy and/or vascular dysfunction.
