Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process comprises mixing, at temperatures between about about 90.degree. C. to 300.degree. C., a first reactant solution comprising less than about 5.times.10.sup.-3 moles/l of at least one antimony compound and at least one first diol having having 2 to about 16 carbon atoms with a second reactant solution comprising less than about 30.times.10.sup.-3 moles/l of at least one phosphorus stabilizer compound and at least one second diol to form sub-visual molecular aggregates comprising antimony phosphate derivatives. Sub-visual molecular aggregates comprising antimony phosphate derivatives which are stable in suspension are also disclosed.
Abstract:
The composition of matter, vanadyl phosphite, useful as a precursor to a vanadium/phosphorous oxide oxidation catalyst used in the selective oxidation of n-butane to produce maleic anhydride.
Abstract:
A process for treating an organic solution of a partially deactivated solubilized rhodium-tertiary organophosphine complex hydroformylation catalyst with an organic reagent in order to improve the extractability of rhodium therefrom into an aqueous solution containing an ionic organophosphine ligand.
Abstract:
This invention pertains to hydroformylation catalysts containing a mixture of isomeric forms of halo-phosphorus ligands. This invention also describes a procedure for preparing isomers of certain halophosphite ligands, which contain the phosphorus atom in a macrocyclic ring.

An oxygen reduction catalyst of an embodiment includes: a stack of single-layer graphenes; and a phosphorus compound, wherein some of carbon atoms of the graphenes are replaced by nitrogen atoms, and the phosphorus compound has a peak of phosphorus 2p orbital of 133.0 to 134.5 eV in X-ray photoelectron spectrum.
Abstract:
A composition that comprises a support material having incorporated therein a metal component and impregnated with both hydrocarbon oil and a polar additive. The composition that is impregnated with both hydrocarbon oil and polar additive is useful in the hydrotreating of hydrocarbon feedstocks, and it is especially useful in applications involving delayed feed introduction whereby the composition is first treated with hot hydrogen, and, optionally, with a sulfur compound, prior to contacting it with a hydrocarbon feedstock under hydrodesulfurization process conditions.
