Abstract: Disclosed is a method of continuously preparing N,N-Bis(2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidyl)-1,6-hexamethylenediamine, which relates to chemical engineering. The Pt/C catalyst and the quartz sand are mixed uniformly and loaded to the continuous-flow fixed-bed reactor. Then, hydrogen gas and a substrate solution containing 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidinone and 1,6-hexanediamine are simultaneously fed to the micro-mixer and the continuous-flow fixed-bed reactor in sequence to undergo a continuous catalytic reductive amination to obtain the N,N-Bis(2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidyl)-1,6-hexamethylenediamine.

Abstract: A sulfuric acid generating system can include: a primary burn chamber; an exhaust pipe extending from the burn chamber at a first end to an opposite second end; a secondary burn chamber located between the first end and second end; and a primary venturi pump having a gas inlet coupled to an outlet at the second end of the exhaust pipe and having an aqueous media inlet and having a fluid outlet. A method of producing sulfurous acid can include: providing sulfur to the primary burn chamber; burning a first portion of the sulfur in the primary burn chamber to form a first portion of sulfur dioxide; burning a second portion of the sulfur in the secondary burn chamber to form a second portion of sulfur dioxide; and mixing the first portion and second portion of sulfur dioxide with an aqueous composition so as to produce aqueous sulfurous acid.

Abstract: A system for post-processing carbon powders includes a fluidized-bed reactor having an interior containing a fluidized-bed region. The system may include a gas feed source, a gas inlet value, a gas-solid separator, and an energy source coupled to the fluidized-bed reactor. Carbon nano-particulates may be loaded, in powder form, into the fluidized-bed region prior to operation. The gas feed source may output a gas-phase mixture into the interior of the fluidized-bed reactor, and the energy source may electromagnetically excite the gas-phase mixture and generate a plasma-phase mixture formed in a plasma region positioned adjacent to or within the interior of the fluidized-bed reactor. The energy source may be positioned at one or more positions relative to the gas inlet valve.
