Abstract: A method for coating objects starts with dispensing, by means of a first painting system, a first coating layer on a first object. A property of the first coating layer is measured to thereby obtain a first property value, and a coating variable of a second painting system is adjusted based on the first property value. A second coating layer is dispensed on the first coating layer by means of the second painting system which is different from the first painting system. By providing a measurement between the two painting systems, and by adjusting the coating parameters of the downstream painting system based on the measurement results, the overall coating can be corrected by compensating by means of the downstream painting system for a defective coating dispensed by the upstream painting system.

Abstract: Provided herein is a cable tray apparatus including a first side rail, a second side rail spaced from the first side rail, and at least one support member having a first end and a second end. The second side rail includes a support wall and first and second tabs extending from the support wall. The support member includes side walls extending between the ends, and first and second recesses formed within each of the two side walls at each end. Abstract: A system and method for monitoring a switchgear includes an infrared camera, a processing unit, and an output unit. The infrared camera acquires an infrared image of the switchgear, and the processing unit converts it into a binary image. Pixels in the infrared image having a temperature equal to or above a first threshold value are given the same first value. Pixels in the infrared image having a temperature below the first threshold value are given the same second value. The processing unit is configured to implement a Siamese neural network to determine if a hot spot exists in the infrared image.

Abstract: An electric machine includes a stator and a rotor. The rotor includes stacked laminations forming a rotor core. The rotor rotates relative to the stator about a central axis. The rotor core has an outer diameter. Each lamination includes a plurality of magnet slots. Each magnet slot includes a ferrite permanent magnet located therein, adjacent pairs of the ferrite permanent magnets defining a number of poles. Each of the laminations includes a plurality of non-circular rotor bar apertures spaced about the central axis of the rotor and disposed adjacent to and radially inward of the rotor outer diameter. A non-cylindrical rotor bar is disposed in each respective of the plurality of rotor bar apertures. The rotor bars are formed of a conductive material, wherein at least some of the plurality of rotor bars collectively form a rotor bar cage.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to an uninterruptible power supply. The uninterruptible power supply comprises a switch, a power management module, an inverter and a controller. The switch is arranged between a load and a power source, the power source configured to supply power to the load. The power management module comprises a main energy storage and configured to reduce a ripple experienced by the main energy storage. The inverter is arranged between and coupled to the power management module and the load. The controller is coupled to the power management module, the inverter and the switch, the controller configured to control the inverter to regulate output voltage magnitude and frequency by regulating the power exchange between the inverter and the power source. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, the overcharging of the energy storage during sudden load rejections or utility phase jumps can be avoided.

Abstract: A system and method are described for post-processing a 3D printed component. For example, support structures for the 3D printed component may be removed during post-processing. In the system and method, a first image of a component is stored in memory. A second image of a 3D printed component corresponding to the component is also captured. One or more cutting paths between the 3D printed component and the support structures is then determined based on the first image and the second image. The 3D printed component may then be autonomously separated from the support structures by cutting through the cutting path.

The transition signal is based on comparing an electrical characteristic associated with one or more input currents to the plurality of switching devices with a threshold value.
