Abstract:
A massaging device having an applicator driven by a plurality of driving unit to move along two or more different axes to generate a combined massaging action to be applied to the user's body. A controller holds individual speed data each defining a speed at which each of the driving units reciprocates the applicator along each of the different axes, and to control the driving units to reciprocate the applicator in accordance with the associated speed data. The controller controls the speed of the applicator along one of the axes independently from the speed of the applicator moving along another of the axes. Accordingly, the applicator's movements along the different axes can be free from being interfered with each other even being subject to a load, thereby assuring to continue the combined massaging action.
Abstract:
A lower-limb massage machine is provided with a stand having an upper stand member disposed on an upper portion of a lower stand member to be placed on a floor surface, and a casing. The casing has a pair of right and left recess portions, on its face side, extending in a front-and-rear direction so that lower limbs are fitted in the recess portions, respectively. The casing is supported rotatably around an axis extending in a right-and-left direction with respect to the upper stand member, a massage mechanism incorporated in the casing for massaging the lower limbs. Also provided is an attitude holding mechanism for holding the casing at an attitude with respect to the upper stand member to which the casing is rotated. Accordingly, the attitude and height of the casing of the lower-limb massage machine can easily adjusted.
Abstract:
A massaging device particularly for a chair is provided. Owing to the provision of the rotative arms, the relative distance between the upper and lower massaging element pairs in the massaging device can be adjusted, and thus a massaging action imitating a human-made massaging action can be generated by the massaging device. Further, a relative protruding extent between the upper and lower massaging element pairs may be selected, and thus the foul-wheel or dual-wheel based pressing, rubbing and tapping actions can be provided when these massaging elements are operated with cooperation of a displacement mechanism and a control device. In addition, the provided massaging force can be adjusted to achieve a good massaging effect on the acupuncture points and strained muscles of the user.
Abstract:
The present invention is aimed at providing a chair-like massaging apparatus and a forearm massager for use with the chair-like massaging apparatus, which are capable of massaging a forearm of a user as desired and allow the user to take a free posture because of absence of an arm obstructing part in an upper portion of an armrest when the forearm is not to be massaged. To this end, the massaging apparatus of the present invention is configured such that an arm rest (5) configured to support a forearm of the user is provided with a detachable member (38) that is movable along a guide rail (37) and the detachable member (38) is provided with a fitting groove (39). A forearm massager (7) configured to be capable of giving pressure stimulation to the forearm with the forearm of the user sandwiched between the fix and support portion (46) and the pressing portion (47) is provided with a fitting protrusion (40) fitted in the fitting groove (39). By removably fitting the fitting protrusion (40) into the fitting groove (39), the forearm massager (7) is removably attached to the armrest (5).
Abstract:
A vibrator has massaging balls supported by a treating unit that may be shifted along a subject portion for treatment, guided by guiding members. The treating unit is supported by a supporting structure with respect to the guiding members. A position or orientation altering mechanism is provided for altering the position of the treatment unit in a direction orthogonal to the direction of its shifting or the orientation of the treating unit with respect to the guiding members. The supporting structure may include an engaging unit that engages the guiding members and an arm for supporting the engaging unit.
Abstract:
The invention provides a massage machine wherein massage arms provided with kneading balls are held inclined forward to give a suitable massage. The massage machine comprises a kneading shaft (40) disposed on the massage unit (20) substantially horizontally, pivotal levers (33),(33) supported by the kneading shaft (40), massage arms (32),(32) supported by forward ends of the respective pivotal lever and kneading balls (31),(31) provided on the respective massage arms each at a position obliquely above the position where the massage arm is supported by the pivotal lever. An arm lock mechanism (80) is coupled to the massage unit for holding the kneading balls pushed out forward, and the arm lock mechanism tiltably supports arm lock rods (83),(83) each having one end connected to the massage arm at a position away from the position where the massage arm is supported by the pivotal lever. Each of the arm lock rods is forwardly tiltable by the arm lock mechanism to hold the massage arm with the kneading ball pushed out forward.
Abstract:
A massaging machine includes a massaging unit having massaging balls for contacting a patient and a massaging shaft that is rotationally driven and causes the massaging balls to undergo massaging motions and a lifting shaft that is rotated for moving the massaging unit along guide devices. Pinions are fixed to the lifting shaft and engage racks on the guide devices. Eccentric collars are supported by the lifting shaft and their outer peripheries support link holders rotatably. Arm-supporting members supporting the massaging balls are axially supported by the massaging shaft and are connected to the link holders. Phase difference in the rotary motions of the eccentric collars is varied by the direction of rotation of a motor for the eccentric collars.
Abstract:
