Abstract: A method, apparatus, computer storage medium, and terminal for entering numeric symbols using a touch screen frame related to the field of communication technology. The method includes: receiving an instruction to start a numeric keypad, opening the numeric keypad in a special region on edge of a touch screen, receiving a touch operation input by the user on the numeric keypad, and determining a number or a symbol corresponding to the touch operation based on the operation region of the touch operation and the number of the click operation included in the touch operation. Thus, users can make a phone call with one hand or can enter the corresponding number or symbol keys in the answer to the phone while listening to the information. It is easy to operate and can improve the user experience.

Abstract: A mobile device, such as a smart phone, receives and presents interactive audio content from an interactive voice response (IVR) system. The mobile device provides an interface that enables a user to navigate through a menu presented in the interactive content. The interface further presents action elements that identify actions that can be requested through the menu, and selection of the one of the action elements may cause the IVR to perform an associated action. For example, the interface may identify representatives at a call center, and a selection of one of the action elements causes the IVR to establish a communication between the mobile device and the selected representative. The action elements may further identify status information associated with the call center, such as an expected wait time.

Abstract: Methods, systems, apparatus, and non-transitory computer readable media are described for a scalable computer-telephony integration system. Various aspects may include storing sets of call agent login information for several call agents within the computer-telephony integration system and across several independent computing systems in a contact center login database. Additionally, various aspects may include generating several contact center service categories and sets of contact information for each contact center service category, which may be stored in a contact center directory database. When an incoming call is received from a customer, various aspects may include obtaining customer call information from the customer and generating a customer call key, which may be stored as a reference to the customer call information in a contact center customer call information database. The call key may be used to reduce an amount of data electronically transferred between call agents during telephone call transfers.

Abstract: Computer systems, according to various embodiments, are adapted to assist emergency services providers in determining the location of an individual who is in need of help. In various embodiments, the system may be adapted to determine a current dispatchable location for the individual who is in need of help, use the determined dispatchable location to determine which particular public-safety answering point will be handling an emergency electronic communication (e.g., text message or other, non-text digital or analog electronic communication) regarding the individual, update a data structure associated with the particular public-safety answering point to indicate the individual's current location, and then initiate and/or mediate an electronic communication between the individual and the emergency services provider. In various embodiments, updating the database may provide more accurate information regarding the individual's location than would otherwise be available for the individual.

Abstract: An intermediary device to enhance and route data messages between end user and contact center agent computing devices in a contact center environment is provided. The intermediary device can be disposed in a data communication path of a contact center between an electronic communications network and a contact center agent computing device. The intermediary device can include a data message replication mechanism, a data message aggregator mechanism, or a data message analysis mechanism. The intermediary device can receive a data message. The data message replication mechanism can intercept and replicate the data message to generate a replicated data message. The data message analysis mechanism can generate, from the replicated data message, derivative content. The data message aggregator mechanism can combine the derivative content with the data message to create an enhanced data message that can be provided to the contact center agent computing device in the contact center environment.

Abstract: Instructions are transmitted from a contact center builder system to a content provider system that, when executed, provide an interface for configuring a contact center for the content provider that includes a contact center telephone number, an agent pool, and an interaction site. Data associated with one or more contact center configuration parameters are received from the content provider. A contact center telephone number is assigned to the contact center based on the data. One or more agents are assigned to the agent pool of the contact center based on the data. The data includes a task to be handled by the communications system without using an agent of the agent pool is determined. In response to determining that the data includes the task to be handled by the communications system without using an agent of the agent pool, multiple interaction pages for the interaction site are generated.
