Abstract: Devices and methods are provided for controlling dead-time of a direct current to direct current (DC-DC) converter. A control circuit includes a first transistor having a source/drain terminal coupled to an output voltage of the DC-DC converter configured to provide current based on the output voltage. The control circuit also includes a digital up/down counter having an output terminal electrically coupled to an input terminal of a delay cell of the DC-DC converter. A current sensing circuit of the control circuit is electrically coupled to an input terminal of the digital up/down counter configured to receive the current and drive the digital up/down counter based on the current.

The system includes current sense circuitry having a power input, a load input and a sense output, where the power input is coupled to the power terminal, the current sense circuitry is configured to provide a sense signal at the sense output, and the sense signal represents a polarity and a magnitude of a current at the load input. The system includes a controller having a sense input coupled to the sense output and a control output coupled to the control input, where the controller is configured to provide a control signal at the control output responsive to the sense signal, and the charge pump is configured to adjust a voltage at the charge pump output responsive to the control signal.

Abstract: An electronic circuit for controlling a power switch having a gate input, includes a signal generator configured to generate a gate driver input signal. The electronic circuit also includes a gate driver configured to receive the gate driver input signal and to provide a gate driver output signal based on the gate driver input signal. The signal generator is configured to cause the gate driver input signal to toggle during the third period of time such that the gate driver output signal has a third voltage during the second period of time, and an intermediate voltage that is less than the third voltage during the third period of time.

Abstract: A three-phase uninterruptible power system and an operation method thereof are provided. The three-phase uninterruptible power system comprises a DC bus, three power conversion circuits and a control circuit. When the three-phase uninterruptible power system enters a line mode from a battery mode, the control circuit performs a huge current suppression for each power conversion circuit according to a predetermined sequence. The huge current suppression performed for any of the power conversion circuits comprises the following steps: disabling the DC-DC conversion of the power conversion circuit, and having the other two power conversion circuits to additionally share the original load of the disabled power conversion circuit; and after the DC-DC conversion of the power conversion circuit is disabled, enabling the AC-DC conversion of the power conversion circuit, and having the power conversion circuits revert to their original load.

Abstract: A driver includes first and second switches. A first transistor has a first control input and first and second current terminals. A resistor couples between a voltage supply terminal and the first control input. A configurable voltage clamp circuit has a voltage clamp control input and a voltage clamp circuit output coupled to the first control input. A second transistor has a second control input and third and fourth current terminals. A logic circuit includes a comparator having a comparator output. The logic circuit is configured to configure the voltage clamp circuit for a first clamp voltage at the voltage clamp circuit output responsive to the first switch being turned ON and for a second clamp voltage at the voltage clamp circuit output based on a signal at the comparator output.

Abstract: A control device for driving an external load which receives DC voltage from an energy supply unit of a vehicle and converts the DC voltage into AC voltage to supply voltage to a load outside the vehicle, according to one embodiment of the present disclosure, includes: a DC/AC output inverter that converts the received DC voltage into the AC voltage and outputs the converted AC voltage by switching of a switching element; a current sensor that senses an inductor current value of an output terminal of the DC/AC output inverter; a microcontroller that receives the sensed current value and outputs a pulse width modulation control signal input to the switching element of the DC/AC output inverter; a gate drive that receives the pulse width modulation control signal output from the microcontroller and outputs a gate driving signal to a gate of the switching element; and a comparator that compares the current value sensed by the current sensor with a preset reference current value and outputs a disable signal to forcibly stop outputting the gate driving signal when the sensed current value is not within the preset reference current value range.
