Abstract:
A relaying device may be configured to communicate with an image processing device and a server via a network. The relaying device may receive, from the image processing device, process identification information. The selected data process may be executed on output data outputted from the image processing device or the server. The relaying device may identify an instruction-module as a selected instruction-module from among a plurality of instruction-modules. The relaying device may execute the selected instruction-module so as to execute the selected data process on the output data. The relaying device may transmit processed data to the server in a case that the output data is outputted from the image processing device. The relaying device may transmit the processed data to the image processing device in a case that the output data is outputted from the server.
Abstract:
Approaches are provided for identifying, in a particular scan process definition that corresponds to the particular user interface object: scan settings data, processing settings data, and service tracking information; generating metadata that includes at least a portion of the scan settings data; and transmitting the scan data, the metadata, the processing settings data and the service tracking information to the scan server for processing, wherein processing of the tracking information by the scan server causes the scan server to generate service tracking data that includes at least a portion of the metadata and specifies processing of the scan data by a plurality of network services that are separate from both the scan device and the scan server.
Abstract:
An image forming system includes a print server, a request unit configured to cause the print server to request, from an image forming apparatus recently connected to a network, a resource relating to image forming processing available to the image forming apparatus, a providing unit configured to provide the resource from the image forming apparatus to the print server, through the network, in response to the request from the request unit, and a registration unit configured to store the provided resource in a storage unit and register, in a database, resource information relating to the provided resource, in the print server.
Abstract:
A processing apparatus includes a provision unit that is connected to a communication unit used to communicate with plural actual apparatuses and a manipulation unit which is used to manipulate the actual apparatuses, that forms virtual image processing functions which control operations of the actual apparatuses based on manipulation of the manipulation unit, and that provides services using the virtual image processing functions, and a control unit that, when an operation execution instruction of the actual apparatuses is given using the manipulation unit, limits the processes which exceed an amount of licenses indicating a previously contracted number of actual apparatuses, throughputs of the previously contracted number of actual apparatuses, or a previously contracted number of virtual image processing functions, and that controls the provision unit such that the services are provided based on the operation execution instruction.
Abstract:
An image processing apparatus capable of facilitating synchronization of a maintenance moving image between an image processing apparatus and a mobile information terminal, thereby making it possible to more efficiently show the moving image to a user who performs a maintenance operation. The mobile information terminal is registered as a distribution destination of the moving image. The moving image for current reproduction and display on the apparatus and information of the reproduction position of the moving image are distributed to the terminal to thereby cause the terminal to reproduce and display the moving image from the position. The position is changed based on information of a change in the reproduction position received from the terminal. When the position is changed on the image apparatus, information of a change in the position is transmitted to the terminal, to thereby cause the terminal to change the position.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus includes a printing data reception unit, an identification information creation unit, an identification information transmission unit, an HDD, an image forming unit, an identification information acceptance unit, and a controller. The printing data reception unit receives from a communication terminal device printing data including printing target data and its printing accompanying information with a predetermined protocol. The identification information creation unit creates identification information upon receiving the printing data. The identification information transmission unit transmits identification information to the communication terminal device. The HDD stores the printing data. The identification information acceptance unit accepts input of the identification information. The controller makes the image forming unit print the printing target data corresponding to the input identification information.
Abstract:
An apparatus that supports multi-display to reproduce images on an external display apparatus connectable to the apparatus, a method of operating the apparatus, and a computer readable recording medium recorded thereon a program for executing the method. The apparatus includes: a digital signal processor which, when a signal of a first display command is input to the apparatus, displays a screen obtained by performing the first display command on the apparatus in a continuous reproduction mode at a predetermined speed, and when a signal of a second display command corresponding to the signal of the first display command is input to the apparatus, displays a screen obtained by performing the second display command on the external display apparatus images on the external display apparatus at a speed different from the predetermined speed of the continuous reproduction mode.
Abstract:
Techniques are provided for allowing a user to create a document processing job (e.g., a print job, a scan job, a copy job, fax job) at a mobile device instead of at a document processing device, such as a printer, scanner, or copier. A cloud service interacts with the mobile device to retrieve job settings data from the mobile device. The cloud service generates a job identifier, associates the job identifier with job settings associated with the job settings data, and sends the job identifier to the mobile device, which displays the job identifier to the user. The user later enters the job identifier at the document processing device, which, in turn, uses the job identifier to request the job settings from the cloud service. The cloud service identifies the job settings based on the job identifier and sends the job settings to the document processing device.
Abstract:
A plurality of image processing servers in charge of a first-order service individually transmit their server selection information to a plurality of image processing servers in charge of a second-order service, and those in charge of the second-order service individually select one of those in charge of the first-order service as the most preferred server based on the server selection information received therefrom. Similarly, a plurality of image processing servers in charge of a third-order service individually select one of those in charge of the second-order service as the most preferred server based on the server selection information of those in charge of the second-order service received therefrom. Also similarly, an image forming apparatus selects one of a plurality of image processing servers in charge of the final service as the most preferred server based on the server selection information of those in charge of the final service received therefrom.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an image processing system in which a client apparatus transmits RAW image data to a server apparatus, receives a result developed by the server apparatus, and displays onto a display area. The client apparatus reduces the RAW image data to a size suitable to display, transmits to the server apparatus, and requests a development processing. At this time, the client apparatus also starts a transmission processing of original RAW image data to the server apparatus. While making adjustment of the development processing to reduced RAW image data, the client apparatus and the server apparatus also execute a transmission and reception processing of the original RAW image data in parallel therewith. After the development processing of the reduced RAW image data, if there is a request from the client apparatus, the server apparatus also executes the development processing of the original RAW image data in a manner similar to the reduced RAW image data.
