    Abstract: A panel mount connector is to be mounted on a panel including a connector mounting hole, and provided with a panel side housing including an inner receptacle projecting outwardly of the panel from the connector mounting hole and to be mounted on the panel, an inner housing to be fit into the inner receptacle, an outer housing including an outer receptacle disposed outside the panel and to be externally fit to the inner receptacle, the inner housing being mounted in the outer housing, a panel seal to be sandwiched between an outer peripheral edge part of the connector mounting hole in the panel and a tip part of the outer receptacle with both the inner housing and the outer receptacle fit to the inner receptacle, and a lever mounted movably between a connection start position and a connection completion position with respect to the outer receptacle.

    Abstract: An input connector assembly, which is for detecting residual current and adapted for connecting power sources to electric equipment of electric vehicles, includes a wire terminal block, lock and release mechanisms, a residual current sensor, and a support holder. The wire terminal block has wire terminals for receiving electrical wires. The lock and release mechanisms are connected to the wire terminal block for fixing electrical wires to conductors in the wire terminals. The residual current sensor is adapted to be mounted to a flat surface. The support holder is designed to be placed above the residual current sensor and to be connected to the flat surface. The support holder is further adapted for supporting the wire terminal block in a position above the residual current sensor. Conducting connection pins run from the conductors in the wire terminals through openings in the residual current sensor to the flat surface.

    Abstract: A lead block includes a lead block body and a plurality of bus bars. The plurality of bus bars include a plurality of connection pins and a plurality of conductor connecting portions. At least one of the plurality of conductor connecting portions includes an exposed surface and a connection projection. The connection projection protrudes from the exposed surface in a perpendicular direction and is configured to be connected to a conductor of an electrical cable. The connection projection is disposed in a first region with respect to the exposed surface in the perpendicular direction. The lead block body includes a cable-facing surface provided facing the electrical cable in a state where the connection projection is connected to the conductor of the electrical cable. The cable-facing surface is offset in the perpendicular direction from the exposed surface and is disposed in the first region with respect to the exposed surface.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a sealed cable connector, including electric cables; an electrically insulating housing; electrical terminals, each of the electrical terminals having an end portion that is electrically connected to an end portion of a corresponding electric cable; the housing having a frame forming a cavity that extends in a z-direction, wherein connected end portions of the electric cables and the electrical terminals are provided within in the cavity of the frame; wherein the electrical terminals have a planar shape in the cavity and are oriented in the x-direction and the z-direction, in that the housing is molded onto the connected electric cables and the electrical terminals, and in that an electrically isolating material is injected into the cavity such that it seals the connected end portions of the electric cables and the electrical terminals. A manufacturing method and use of the sealed cable connector is also provided.

    Abstract: A power management system includes a vehicle, a charge and discharge apparatus including a cable and a connector, and a command device. The vehicle includes an inlet, a lock device, an electrical storage device, and a controller. The command device, just before an exchange of electric power with the vehicle is started, sends a lock command to the controller to cause the lock device to lock the connector such that the connector does not come off from the inlet. The controller controls the lock device such that the connector is locked upon receiving the lock command and sends a completion signal to the command device upon confirming that the connector is locked. The command device, when not receiving the completion signal after sending the lock command, resends the lock command, and, when, after resending the lock command, failing to confirm that the connector is locked, stops resending the lock command.
