Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods for the production of transportation fuels from renewable paraffinic feed stocks. The methods disclosed herein present an environmentally-friendly process for using renewable paraffinic feed stocks from various sources. The renewable paraffinic feed stocks can be used to produce a variety of hydrocarbon fuels, including renewable gasoline. The disclosure also relates to fuel products and fuel blend stocks produced from renewable paraffinic feed stocks.

Abstract: A motor fuel comprising gasoline comprising 70-99 wt % gasoline and 1 to 30 wt % of mesitylene. This fuel can advantageously contain conventional additives used in gasoline. The use of mesitylene in gasoline blend yields a fuel blend with a higher research octane number and motor octane number. In addition, an improved jet fuel is provided, having from 1-10 wt % mesitylene added to the jet fuel, having improved carbon emission characteristics while maintaining required specifications. Further, an improved bio-fuel is provided, which may function as a replacement for conventional Jet A/JP-8 fuel and has lowered carbon emission specifications, the bio-fuel comprised of 75-90 wt % synthetic parafinnic kerosene (SPK) and 10-25 wt % mesitylene.

Abstract: A system for producing chemicals, such as, ethylene or gasoline, at high temperature (above 1100 degrees C.) having a feedstock source. The system includes a chemical conversion portion connected with the feedstock source to receive feedstock and convert the feedstock to ethylene or gasoline. The conversion portion includes a coil array and a furnace that heats the feedstock to temperatures in excess of 1100° C. or 1200° C. or even 1250° C. or even 1300° C. or even 1400° C. A method for producing chemicals, such as ethylene or gasoline, at high temperature.

Abstract: A two-step process for the oligomerization and hydration of a mixed butenes feed is provided and is implemented in a two-stage system. The two-step process yields a product consisting of diisobutenes (DIBs) and mixed butanols. The DIBs are produced via the selective oligomerization of isobutene in a first stage and the mixed butanols are produced via the hydration, in a second stage, of mixed butenes that remain unreacted in the first stage.
