Abstract: Provided is a manufacturing method with which it is possible to convert a mayenite-type compound to an electride, wherein a reducing agent is not required, reaction conditions include a temperature that is lower than that in the related art, and the reaction is performed more quickly in a simple manner, and, additionally, by requiring a lower amount of energy. Provided is a method for manufacturing an electride of mayenite-type compounds, the method being characterized in that a mayenite-type compound is converted to an electride by making a current directly flow through the mayenite-type compound by applying a voltage to the mayenite-type compound in a heating state.

Abstract: A change in geoid height is measured easily. A geoid measurement method of the present invention executes an inertial measurement data acquiring step, a comparison data acquiring step, a state variable estimating step, and a geoid calculating step. In the inertial measurement data acquiring step, data related to velocity, position, and attitude angle is acquired as inertially-derived data based on the output of an inertial measurement part having a three-axis gyro and a three-axis accelerometer attached to a moving body. In the comparison data acquiring step, data related to velocity is acquired as comparison data from a source other than the inertial measurement part. In the state variable estimating step, state variables including a plumb line deviation are estimated by using the inertially-derived data and the comparison data to apply a Kalman filter in which the plumb line deviation is included in the state variables.

Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a low height type actuator capable of performing a two-dimensional motion. An actuator includes a magnet structure 20 that includes a first array Lx in which the first and second magnets 21 and 22 are alternately arranged in x-direction and a second array Ly in which the first and second magnets 21 and 22 are alternately arranged in y-direction, and first and second wirings 30 and 40. The first wiring 30 crosses the first magnets 21 and 22 included in the first array Lx in y-direction, and the second wiring 40 crosses the first magnets 21 and 22 included in the second array Lx in x-direction. According to the present invention, by making current flow in the first and second wirings 30 and 40, a two-dimensional motion can be achieved. Further, since the first and second wirings 30 and 40 are each a planar wiring that crosses the magnets, height reduction can be achieved.

This method for manufacturing an ammonia synthesis catalyst includes: a first step for preparing 12CaO.7Al2O3 having a specific surface area of 5 m2/g or above; a second step for supporting a ruthenium compound on the 12CaO.7Al2O3; and a third step for performing a reduction process on the 12CaO.7Al2O3 supporting the ruthenium compound, obtained in the second step. This invention is characterized in that the reduction process is performed until the average particle diameter of the ruthenium after the reduction process has increased by at least 15% in relation to the average particle diameter of the ruthenium before the reduction process.
