A resin substrate includes a base portion including one first resin sheet made of a thermoplastic resin as a main material or a stack of two or more first resin sheets each made of a thermoplastic resin as a main material, the base portion including a main surface, and first and second connecting conductors provided on the main surface of the base portion and spaced away from each other. The base portion includes a convex portion separating the first and second connecting conductors on the main surface by a second resin sheet disposed at a position on a surface of the base portion or inside the base portion. The second resin sheet is made of the same material as the first resin sheet.

An antenna device includes a feed coil and a sheet conductor. The feed coil includes a magnetic core and a coil-shaped conductor, which is provided around the magnetic core. An RFIC is connected to the feed coil. The sheet conductor has a larger area than the feed coil. A slit that extends from a portion of the edge of the sheet conductor toward the inner side of the sheet conductor is provided in the sheet conductor. The feed coil is arranged such that the direction of the axis around which the feed coil is disposed is parallel or substantially parallel to the directions in which the sheet conductor extends. The feed coil is arranged such that the feed coil is close to the slit and one of coil openings at the ends of the feed coil faces the slit.

A transmission line portion of a flat cable includes first regions and second regions connected alternately. In the first region, the transmission line portion is a flexible tri-plate transmission line including a dielectric element including a signal conductor, a first ground conductor including opening portions, and a second ground conductor which is a solidly filled conductor. In the second region, the transmission line portion is a hard tri-plate transmission line including a wide dielectric element including a meandering conductor, and a first ground conductor and a second ground conductor which are solidly filled conductors. A variation width of the characteristic impedance in the second region is larger than a variation width of the characteristic impedance in the first region.

The high-frequency transmission line member includes a flexible substrate, a signal conductor, and a ground conductor along the signal conductor. The housing is defined by a member separate from the high-frequency transmission line member and located at one principal surface side of the high-frequency transmission line member. The high-frequency transmission line member includes a first portion along the housing to face the housing, and a second portion spaced apart from the housing more than the first portion. The ground conductor is not provided at one principal surface side of the signal conductor in the first portion and is provided at least in the second portion.

A first ground conductor is disposed on the lower surface of a third resin sheet. A second ground conductor is disposed on the upper surface of a fourth resin sheet. The first ground conductor and the second ground conductor are connected to each other by a interlayer connection conductor including a plurality of via conductors. The interlayer connection conductor does not define a closed loop surrounding the coil conductor.

An antenna includes antenna coil having a magnetic-material core and a coil conductor. The antenna coil is arranged toward a side of a planar conductor, such as a circuit board. Of the coil conductor, a first conductor part close to a first main face of the magnetic-material core and a second conductor part close to a second main face of the magnetic-material core are provided such that the first conductor part is not over the second conductor part in view from a line in a direction normal to the first main face or the second main face of the magnetic-material core. In addition, a coil axis of the coil conductor is orthogonal to the side of the planar conductor.

A flexible board includes a flexible body including a first principal surface and a second principal surface, and a linear conductor provided in the body and closer to the first principal surface than to the second principal surface. The body is bent inwardly with respect to the first principal surface along an inward bending line crossing the linear conductor and also outwardly with respect to the first principal surface along an outward bending line crossing the linear conductor. The inward bend of the body has a larger mean curvature radius than the outward bend of the body.
