Abstract:
A body massager is disclosed with a housing having a longitudinal axis and an external contact surface for receiving a portion of a body of a user. A longitudinal guide is mounted in the housing with a carriage cooperating with the guide for translation therealong. A motor is oriented in the housing, operably coupled to the housing and the carriage such that continuous rotation of the motor in one rotary direction translates the carriage along the guide in at least two directions. A massage formation is supported by the carriage for imparting a massage effect upon the portion of the user's body as the carriage is translated relative to the housing. In another embodiment, a massage bracket is driven about a first axis of rotation; and a massage node mounted to the bracket is driven to rotate relative to the bracket.
Abstract:
A folding full bed massage mattress with idler wheel, which is comprised by two half covered bed mattresses and connected with top section of each mattress into full bed so that it can be folded; its features are as follows: an independent motor-driven active shaft lever is respectively mounted in inner middle section of this two groups of half bed mattresses, each carry one group to mount on shaft lever, passive massage seat with idler wheel that can move to and fro in axial direction is installed; one group of power or switch, loop control device is assembled between two half beds as relay of massage mattress, so that this two groups of half beds massage mattress can massage your body independently and simultaneously or continuously; so, this full bed massage mattress with idler wheel can be folded from the middle section, it thereby can occupy less room and convenient to carry with.
Abstract:
A massaging device particularly for a chair is provided. Owing to the provision of the rotative arms, the relative distance between the upper and lower massaging element pairs in the massaging device can be adjusted, and thus a massaging action imitating a human-made massaging action can be generated by the massaging device. Further, a relative protruding extent between the upper and lower massaging element pairs may be selected, and thus the foul-wheel or dual-wheel based pressing, rubbing and tapping actions can be provided when these massaging elements are operated with cooperation of a displacement mechanism and a control device. In addition, the provided massaging force can be adjusted to achieve a good massaging effect on the acupuncture points and strained muscles of the user.
Abstract:
A massage device includes a base cover having a fix bore defined in its backside; a guiding device disposed in the base cover; and a moving base received in the base cover and movably mounted on the guiding device. The moving base has a securing hole defined therein. The massage device further includes a bolt with a locking portion, and the locking portion is inserted in both the fix bore and the securing hole.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a body massager comprising a portable housing including a backrest and a seat support. A longitudinal guide is provided in the backrest cooperating with a carriage for translation of the carriage within the backrest and a motor drives the carriage along the guide. A pair of massage members are supported by the carriage and extend from the backrest for imparting a massage effect upon the back of the user. The seat support includes a massager therein for imparting another massage effect to the user.
Abstract:
A pressure-sensing massage machine that resolves the problems of difficult assembly and adjustment and the occurrence of operational errors common to a sensing mechanism that uses many components and devices. The massage machine of the present invention is able to monitor the pressure applied to the massage recipient by a motor-driven movably extending massaging member. A flexible member is provided in the transmission located between the massage member and the motor that drives the massage member, and a pressure sensing mechanism monitors the pressure applied to the massage recipient through the flexible displacement of the flexible member.
Abstract:
A massaging device includes a propeller shaft, at least one first swinging member mounted on the propeller shaft, and at least one second swinging member mounted on the propeller shaft by a male deflection block, a female deflection block and an adjusting rod. Thus, when the rotation direction of the propeller shaft is changed, the push block of the adjusting rod is slidable in the adjusting groove of the male deflection block to produce a time lag of the swinging actions between the second swinging member and the first swinging member, so that the second swinging member and the first swinging member are operated in the same swinging direction or in two different swinging directions so as to produce different swinging actions, thereby providing different massaging effects to the user.
Abstract:
This invention relates to a push kneading device of massager which is composed of main base and driving motor, worm rod, worm gear wheel and massage body fixed inside this main base, wherein, one set of driving motor with worm rod at one terminal and two worm gear wheels geared up with worm rod are fixed inside the main base; and the limiting transmission shafts are respectively installed on the protruding positions of offset of worm gear wheel, two pivot rods are also fixed respectively corresponding to the center of worm gear wheel in the proper position of main base; massage surfaces are fixed on the top side of massage body with one locating hole and long runner at its bottom; thereby, to connect locating hole and long runner of massage body respectively with limiting transmission shaft and pivot rod, the worm gear wheel may generate rotation by use of running position of long runner and locating hole that may make massage body move up-and- down repeatedly and vibrate to left and right so as to provide push finger pressing massage and kneading as hands of human.
Abstract:
The present invention presents a thorny mosaic-like, fluid pressurized, massaging article characterized by a planar mosaic matrix; said matrix comprising at least one multiple typical arrangement, whereat a massaging thistle is surrounded by a plurality of either a fluid or gas conduits, in the manner while the fluid pressure is decreased in at least one conduit, the pressure in at least one other adjacent conduit is increased so the central massaging thistle is forced to incline either towards said pressurized or depressurized conduit and vice versa. The present invention also presents a massager useful for massaging the body comprising a flexible flat liquid container; wherein said liquid are adapted to flow repetitively inside said container in a predetermined course; and a plurality of massaging member comprising a proximal finger-like end and a distal flag-like end, wherein said proximal end is located outside said container and further wherein said distal end is located inside said container so a direct liquid-communication is provided between said flag-like end and at least a portion of the liquid of said container.
Abstract:
A vibrating patient support apparatus has a resonant referencing percussion device preferably located internally to a cover of a mattress of the apparatus. The percussion device delivers a percussion or vibration at a controlled operating frequency that is preferably slightly less than a resonant frequency located internal to the mattress of the apparatus. With the various weight distributions of a patient, the device is capable of determining the ever shifting resonant frequency via control signals received by a controller from a pressure sensor or accelerometer of the device. Because the operating frequency is slightly less than the natural resonating frequency, energy of the system is conserved. Because the operating frequency is not the controller calculated resonant frequency, wear on the device and potential damage is minimized.
