Abstract: In a manufacturing method of a light transmission filter of the invention, an ink receiving layer formed by mutually laminating a pigment permeation layer which is capable of allowing a pigment particle and a solvent contained in a pigment ink for a light transmission filter to permeate, and a solvent absorption layer which is capable of inhibiting permeation of the pigment particle and of absorbing the solvent is prepared, and the pigment ink is applied from the pigment permeation layer side of the ink receiving layer. Then, at least a part of the solvent absorption layer containing a solvent component of the pigment ink is removed from the ink receiving layer.

Abstract: An embodiment of an image processing apparatus includes: an illuminating section which sequentially irradiates an object with a first and second illuminating light beams polarized in different directions. The section emits the polarized light beams sequentially so that the wavelength ranges of the light beams do not overlap with each other. The apparatus further includes: a polarization image sensor; a polarization mosaic processing section which obtains a first polarization image while the object is being irradiated with the first illuminating light beam and a second polarization image while the object is being irradiated with the second illuminating light beam; a depressed area detecting section which detects a depressed area on the surface of the object based on the polarization images; and an image forming section which forms an image representing the depressed area in an enhanced form.

Abstract: A double-lens structure and a method for fabricating the same are provided. Abstract: To provide a method of manufacturing an optical film formed on a plastic substrate. There is provided a method of manufacturing an optical film including the steps of laminating a separation layer and an optical filter on a first substrate, separating the optical filter from the first substrate, attaching the optical filter to a second substrate. Since the optical film manufactured according to the invention has flexibility, it can he provided on a portion or a display device having a curved surface. Further, the optical film is not processed at high temperatures, and hence, an optical film having high yield with high reliability can be formed. Furthermore, an optical film having an excellent impact resistance property can be formed.

Abstract: An electrowetting display comprises a support plate on which individual electrowetting pixels separated from one another by pixel walls are formed. Pixel walls including different layers are disposed on the first support plate and separate adjacent pixel regions from each other. The first layer of a pixel wall comprises a first material having a first color and a second layer of the pixel wall comprises a second material having a second color that is different from the first color. Instead of using black matrix to reduce photo crosstalk, the pixel walls of the different layers absorb light colors that are not intended to reach the respective pixels. A fluid is disposed between the first support plate and a second support plate and at least partially surrounds the first wall and the second wall.

Abstract: An array imaging module includes a molded photosensitive assembly which includes a supporting member, at least a circuit board, at least two photosensitive units, at least two lead wires, and a mold sealer. The photosensitive units are coupled at the chip coupling area of the circuit board. The lead wires are electrically connected the photosensitive units at the chip coupling area of the circuit board. The mold sealer includes a main mold body and has two optical windows. When the main mold body is formed, the lead wires, the circuit board and the photosensitive units are sealed and molded by the main mold body of the mold sealer, such that after the main mold body is formed, the main mold body and at least a portion of the circuit board are integrally formed together at a position that the photosensitive units are aligned with the optical windows respectively.
