Abstract:
A massage pad with heat that wraps to the knee joint providing massage therapy and heat. The knee pad is designed to be wrapped securely around the knee; this holds the massaging and heating elements against the knee joint while the pad is designed to allow bending of the knee for individual use. The pad is controlled with a controller for selecting the degree of heat and one or more massage actuators to provide a variety of massaging to the knee.
Abstract:
A hand massager has a base comprising a plurality of movable massage knobs and a swivel connection, wherein the base is shaped to receive a user's hand. The hand massager also has a top connected to the swivel connection. The top is sized to fit over a user's hand to define a cavity between the top and the base. Electronic user controls controlling the motion of movable massage knobs. The top may further include a vibrating element for massaging the top of a user's hand. The top can also have a heat element. The base has a heat element. The massage knobs, vibrating elements and heat elements interact with each other to make a hand massager that is desktop friendly and can be used in a home environment.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to medical or aesthetic devices for treating cellulite by combining mechanical and electrical energy. The device according to embodiments of the present invention enables reducing the cellulite in the treated tissue, by using pressure on the tissue and/or by inducing heat into the treated tissue. The pressure may be provided on the tissue by a rotatable treatment member, which may be spring-loaded to exert pressure on the tissue. The heat may be induced by RF energy provided by electrodes. The RF electrodes may be combined with the rotatable treatment members.
Abstract:
A cyclic orifice penetrating device according to the present disclosure may include portable frame for supporting the penetration drive mechanism. The frame provides three degrees of adjustment to permit adjustment for a range of user physiques as well as multiple use modes. A drive mechanism according to the present disclosure includes a motor driven, generally conical cam to activate the cam follower. The cams may be formed to have a number of profiles and may be easily removed and replaced to permit the penetration device to simulate a variety of user partners. The cam follower may be laterally adjusted across the cam during use to permit the user to control the amount of cyclic lateral travel of the penetrating element or elements. The motor speed may also be adjusted by the user to suite user preferences.
Abstract:
A therapeutic system for massage comprises a massage device having an activation cell comprising a hollow pocket at least partially filled with a ferro-magnetic fluid, a permanent magnet suspended in the ferro-magnetic fluid, a coil of electrically-conductive material in proximity to the pocket, and a connection interface to connect the coil to a source of varying voltage and current, and a power source of varying voltage for connecting to the connection interface to drive the activation cell.
Abstract:
A thermal rotary massager is provided. The thermal rotary massager according to current application is comprised of two noble rotary electric connectors to heat four heaters embedded inside of four massage balls while the massage balls are rotating. Each electric connector according to current application is comprised of a seating member and one metal bearing connection parts for conduction of electricity. The seating member fits on ribs that is formed on the upper surface of a case and does not rotate. However, the massage balls are heated to emit far-infrared ray and anions while they are rotate-ably massaging user's body. It is possible due to the rotary connectors.
Abstract:
A spa tub includes a control system that operates with a water temperature modification system to stabilize the spa water at a set temperature. In a preferred embodiment, the water temperature modification system is a heat pump. The stabilized temperature provides safety to users of the spa.
Abstract:
A spa is retrofit for use with a heat pump for both heating and cooling the water contained in the spa tub. The heat pump uses the existing water pump of the hydrotherapy system to circulate the water through the heat exchanger of the heat pump.
Abstract:
A massager (12) includes an inductively chargeable battery (48), avoiding the need to deal with batteries and cords while providing a pleasant exothermic warmth. Different embodiments of sealing and skinning (13) make the massager (12) hygienically safe and fluid- and water-resistant. Sophisticated controls (50) provide the massager with the ability to respond to direct-mounted user controls (20, 22), wireless communication controls such as remote controls (30) and a plethora of other protocol-compatible devices, systems and media. A mating base (14) supports the massager (12) for inductive charging in a stable, aesthetically pleasant and safe relationship.
Abstract:
A warm air massager for heating and massaging a body part includes a massage node which includes openings for directing streams of heated air to the body part being massaged. The body part is massaged by the reciprocating motion of the massage node produced by an internal massage motor. The massage motor may rotate to cause an eccentric connector to impart reciprocating motion to a shaft coupled to the massage node. The massage motor may be located within the housing, within the massage node, or there may be multiple massage motors located in each of the housing and the massage node. Intake ambient air enters the massage housing by means of a fan which withdraws ambient air from outside, directs the ambient air through a heater element and directs streams of the heated air through the massage node to the body part being massaged. Each of the fan, the heater element and the massage motor or motors may include multiple settings. The fan and massage motor are preferably separately controlled.
