Abstract: A lid assembly being attached to a pressure vessel includes a filter access cap having a top portion, a bottom portion, and a tubular portion extending from the top portion to the bottom portion to define a throughhole, the top portion having a radial slot. The lid assembly includes a seal plate assembly connected to the bottom portion of the filter access cap and configured to rotate relative to the filter access cap to assist in releasing a pressure from the pressure vessel, and a relief valve for releasing non-atmospheric pressure when opened. Further, the lid assembly includes a seal stem located in the throughhole, wherein the relief valve is mounted in the seal stem, and an arm operatively engaging the relief valve and having a proximal end pivotally secured to the lid assembly, whereby when the arm is pivoted in a first direction the relief valve can be opened.

Abstract: The invention relates to an oil filter device (1) for an internal combustion engine, comprising a support element (2) and a substantially cylindrical filter cartridge (3) which can be connected, especially screwed, to the support element (2). The invention is characterized in that the filter cartridge is arranged essentially in an upright position while an annular duct (4) which surrounds the filter cartridge (3) in the screwed-on state is embodied inside the support element (2). The duct (4) is fluidically separated from the interior of the filter cartridge (3) when the filter cartridge is screwed on while said separation is eliminated when the filter cartridge (3) is removed. Furthermore, the duct (4) is configured as a drainage duct and is fluidically connected to an oil reservoir when the filter cartridge (3) is removed such that the filter cartridge is easy to replace while no oil is spilled, preventing pollution of the environment.

Abstract: A fluid filtering system for filtering dirt and other debris from fluids being conveyed in a pipeline for snow making apparatus and other devices. An upright pipe segment is connected to a horizontal pipe segment through a pipe elbow or angle for conveying fluid such as water and/or air under pressure from the horizontal pipe segment through the pipe angle and upwardly through the upright pipe segment. Abstract: A filter and housing (10) for waste water treatment includes a housing (10) having a plurality of coaxially mounted vertically extending sections adaptable to receive a filter cartridge therein. An upper section (12) is provided with an outlet consisting of at least two coaxially aligned rings (22) of preselected diameters wherein the thickness of the rings and the spacing between the rings is sufficient to receive waste water treatment outlets of different diameters. The filter cartridge is comprised of a stacked arrangement of a plurality of disc-dam units (32) wherein each disc-dam unit (32) is provided with a serpentine configured first dam (46), the first dam extending upwardly from an upper surface of the disc-dam unit, the first dam having terminating ends spaced at outer terminating edges (34a, 34b) of the disc dam unit to define a cord segment therebetween. The terminating ends are connected by a second dam (46) having a height less than the first dam. The serpentine configured first dam divides the disc-dam unit into an upstream side along the outer periphery and a downstream side along the inner periphery. Slots are positioned within the serpentine configured dam on the upstream side thereby providing flow communication with underlying disc-dam units. The top of the first dam is of a preselected height so as to provide a preselected spacing between the top of the first dam and the under surface of an overlying disc-dam unit.
