Abstract: Water filter with self-rinsing capability that includes filter housing, hollow cartridge core, and mesh filter. The filter housing includes a hollow housing with top and drain openings, a top cover with inlet and outlet ports, a one-way pressure valve, and a drain tap that includes a rod, an opening and closing knob that is connected to the rod, and an opening and closing barrier with passageway that is connected to the rod. The cartridge comprises of a tube with inlet and outlet passageways, and spray pipes with spray nozzles, and enables water to flows from the tube into the spray pipes and outside into the filter housing through the nozzles. The mesh filter has a shape of a hollow cylinder that is worn on the tube in a gap between the tube and the spray pipes.

Abstract: A water-filtration device filtrates water, has a main-filtration path and a bypassing-filtration path, and comprises a filter head, a water filter, a guiding assembly and an adjusting valve movably mounted at the filter head. The guiding assembly is mounted at the filter head and connected to the water filter. An O-ring of the adjusting valve can block an end of a bypassing portion of the guiding assembly. In the main-filtration path, water entering from a water inlet of the filter head does not pass through the bypassing portion, thereby completely passing through filter materials in a first filtrating room and a second filtrating room of the water filter. Water in the bypassing-filtration path passes through the bypassing portion and the filter material in the first filtrating room. The O-ring does not reach into the bypassing portion, thereby reducing wear and damage to the O-ring, and avoiding water leakage.

Abstract: The invention relates to an oil filter device (1) for an internal combustion engine, comprising a support element (2) and a substantially cylindrical filter cartridge (3) which can be connected, especially screwed, to the support element (2). The invention is characterized in that the filter cartridge is arranged essentially in an upright position while an annular duct (4) which surrounds the filter cartridge (3) in the screwed-on state is embodied inside the support element (2). The duct (4) is fluidically separated from the interior of the filter cartridge (3) when the filter cartridge is screwed on while said separation is eliminated when the filter cartridge (3) is removed. Furthermore, the duct (4) is configured as a drainage duct and is fluidically connected to an oil reservoir when the filter cartridge (3) is removed such that the filter cartridge is easy to replace while no oil is spilled, preventing pollution of the environment.

Abstract: A sludge concentrating apparatus comprising a sludge tank for storing sludge and a filter cloth having a shape of endless belt which turns between upper and lower rollers, further comprising filtering means of which at least the lowermost of rollers is immersed in the sludge, washing means of the filter cloth, and a filtrate chamber having a filtrate introducing port in contact with the filter cloth and a weir, wherein a sludge distributing tank serving as sludge introducing means into the sludge tank is provided near the upper end of the filtrate introducing port, and a concetrated sludge discharge tank serving as concertrated sludge introducing means with the filter cloth in between; said sludge concentrating apparatus further comprising coagulant adding means for adding an acid, and a flow adjustment device serving as a sludge uniform feeding means which feeds sludge fed into the sludge tank uniformly in the width direction of the filter cloth. It is thus possible to efficiently concentrate sludge produced in a sewage disposal plant in a large quantity without depending upon properties of sludge.

Abstract: A sludge concentrating device comprising a sludge tank storing sludge, a filtering means having an endless belt filter cloth revolving around upper and lower rollers with at least the lowermost roller immersed in the sludge, a filter cloth washing means, a filtrate chamber having a filtrate inlet close to the filter cloth and a weir, a sludge distributing tank serving as a means for introducing sludge into the sludge tank and disposed in the vicinity of the upper end of the filtrate inlet, and a concentrated sludge discharge tank serving as means for discharging concentrated sludge from the sludge tank and disposed in a position substantially opposed to the sludge introducing means with the filter cloth interposed therebetween, wherein the device further comprises a flocculant adding means for adding a flocculant to the sludge fed to the sludge tank, an acid adding means for adding an acid, and a rectifier serving as a uniform sludge feeding means for feeding sludge into the sludge tank uniformly widthwise of the filter cloth. Thus, the sludge produced in a sewage disposal plant can be concentrated in large quantities and efficiently without depending on its properties.
