Abstract:
A printing apparatus capable of adding number information differing from copy set to copy set, to a printing target image includes a judging unit configured to judge whether to add user information indicating a current user to a printing target image, and a determination unit configured to determine a position to which the number information is to be added, based on a result of the judgment performed by the judging unit.
Abstract:
In order to solve a problem that conventional image output apparatuses do not allow a wide-band image having a new value for a user to be output in a narrow band, an image output apparatus includes: an accepting unit that accepts first-image information, which is information related to a first image of a first band; and multiple image output units that output second images, each of which is an image of a second band that is narrower than or equal to the first band, using the first-image information, wherein a third image obtained as a result of output by the multiple image output units is an image subjected to output control so as to have a band that is wider than that of the first image in terms of space, time, or gradation. Accordingly, a wide-band image having a new value for a user can be output in a narrow band.
Abstract:
An imager apparatus useful for a digital architecture lithographic printing system includes a first imager bank having at least one imager configured to produce a first output beam; and a second imager bank having at least one imager configured to produce a second output beam, the second imager bank being located at a first angle with respect to the first imager bank, the first output beam and the second output beam being separated by a second angle which is less than the first angle.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus that is wirelessly connectable with an external device receives a processing request from the external device via wireless communication, and performs processing corresponding to the processing request. A determination is made whether security settings used in the wireless communication satisfy a predetermined condition, and if the security settings do not satisfy the condition, a security level in the image forming apparatus is set to a predetermined level.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus includes an image forming device, a gradation adjustment mark adder and a hardware processor. The hardware processor monitors and adjusts a gradation characteristic based on a result of scanning a gradation adjustment mark. The hardware processor makes a determination as to whether to form the gradation adjustment mark overlapping an image area of an image based on image data. If it is determined to form the gradation adjustment mark overlapping the image area, the hardware processor controls the gradation adjustment mark adder to add gradation adjustment mark information to the image data in the image area.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus comprises a sensor, a base, a clamping section and a limiting section. The sensor includes a hook having a claw section. The sensor is held on the base. The clamping section and the limiting section are arranged on the base. The claw section is clamped with the clamping section. The limiting section is elastically deformable when the sensor is mounted on the base. When the claw section is clamped with the clamping section, the limiting section faces the hook from the opposite side of the clamping section so as to limit the position of the hook.
Abstract:
This printing system reproduces an image on various-sized surfaces by means of multi-positional sensors which automatically identify the printers' positions as they move on the surface to be printed. The printing system reproduces the image by selectively firing one or more printers at those positions corresponding to the original image. In case the surface to be printed is larger than one multi-positional sensor frame, the print image is divided into multiple subdivisions whose individual size is slightly smaller than the sensor frame. Upon completing a subdivision, the user moves the sensor frame to the next subdivision and repeats the steps until the entire surface is printed. Printing an image on a large-sized uneven print surface is now possible due to independent printing in any subdivision, free movement of the sensor frame from subdivision to subdivision and independent control of each printer.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus includes a frame in which a carriage configured to reciprocate along a predetermined direction is disposed, and a unit disposed to be openable with respect to the frame. A first engaging portion is formed on the image forming apparatus. The image forming apparatus is capable of restricting a movement of the carriage at least in the predetermined direction with use of a securing component including a second engaging portion engageable with the first engaging portion. When the securing component is attached to the carriage, and then the unit is closed with the first engaging portion and the second engaging portion engaging with each other, the securing component is sandwiched and fixed between the frame and the unit.
Abstract:
A photoelectric conversion device includes a current consumption circuit configured to consume current such that a difference between a current consumption during a blanking period and a current consumption during a standby period is reduced.
Abstract:
Systems and methods are provided for interactions between print servers and mobile phones. One embodiment is a mobile phone comprising a memory, a transceiver, and a control unit. The memory is operable to store rules for interacting with printers, and the transceiver is operable to communicate with a wireless telecommunication network via radio frequency transmissions. The control unit is operable to receive a notification from a print server via the transceiver that indicates status information for a printer controlled by the print server, to determine actions available for the printer based on the stored rules and the status information, and to generate a Graphical User Interface (GUI) that displays interactive graphical elements selectable by a user to initiate the available actions for the printer.
