Abstract:
A method for producing lithium ion secondary batteries includes the steps of: (A) preparing an electrode sheet with lead-forming parts, (B) intermittently forming porous insulating layers containing an inorganic oxide filler and a binder on a surface of the electrode sheet excluding the lead-forming parts, (C) connecting a lead to each of the lead-forming parts, and (D) fabricating batteries by using the electrode sheet to which the leads are connected. The step B includes: the step of applying a slurry containing the inorganic oxide filler and the binder to the outer surface of a gravure roll, and transferring the slurry applied to the outer surface of the gravure roll on a surface of the electrode sheet that is being transported by a plurality of guide rolls excluding the lead-forming part; and the step of moving at least one selected from the gravure roll and the guide rolls to make the electrode sheet away from the gravure roll in the lead-forming part.
Abstract:
A shielding member applicable in a deposition apparatus is provided. The shielding member includes a base metal and an adhesion promoter layer arc-sprayed on the base metal, wherein adhesion promoter layer has a thickness gradient increasing from an upper end of the shielding member to a lower end of the shielding member. More preferably, no adhesion promoter layer is formed in the upper 10 cm of the shielding member, adjacent to a target layer.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention include a selective deposition assembly that allows for coating of selective portions of an object, such as an electronic device, and inhibits coating of other selective portions of the object, such as the electric contacts. The selective deposition assembly includes a web that has open spaces in it, and reference mechanisms to register the object relative to the web. Other embodiments include a fabrication and selective coating system and method for coating selective portions of an object.
Abstract:
A paint shield for a mounting bracket comprising a member having a front side, a back side, and at least one edge and at least one level disposed on the member. There can be a horizontal and a vertical level disposed on the paint shield. The paint shield with built-in levels are attached to a mounting bracket for installing a speaker unit on a wall or panel and can be reused after being removed
Abstract:
A simply-constructed paint-spraying platform comprises: a platform body comprising a top wall, a ventilation part, a bottom wall, two support plates, and a backing plate. When in use, the paint-spraying platform is expanded, and the article to be painted is hung on the first and second hooking holes or placed on the backing palate for spraying paint by using a spray gun. Therefore, the advantages including easy carriage, good ventilation, low cost, and enhanced steadiness can be provided.
Abstract:
A plug is provided for temporarily closing an aperture of a manufactured article prior to use to protect against debris entering the aperture. The plug has a first portion that fits into the aperture and a second portion that extends outside the aperture covering part of the exterior surface of the manufactured article. A band, serving as a paint mask, is attached to and extends radially outward from the exterior perimeter of the second portion, thereby further covering the exterior surface of the manufactured article. The plug is inserted into the aperture prior to painting and the band is torn away from the remainder of the plug after painting. The remainder of the plug can be removed after the paint has completely dried without producing paint particles which could contaminate the workplace or fall into the aperture.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is an apparatus and method for forming a seal pattern of a flat panel display device. An apparatus for forming a seal pattern of a flat panel display panel includes a mother substrate having a plurality of unit display panels formed thereon; a stage to support the mother substrate; a mask on the mother substrate, the mask having openings, each opening being formed on a region corresponding to an outer periphery of each unit display panel; and a pattern forming unit including a seal head to apply a sealant to the mask to form the seal pattern around the outer periphery of each unit display panel of the mother substrate.
Abstract:
An automatic coating device uses a driving motor and a conveyer to form a cyclically rotating module. An injector filled with a coating material is disposed on one side of the conveyer. When an object to be coated is disposed on the other side of the moving conveyer, the coating material is then applied onto the object by the injector. This can increase the coating speed and quality.
Abstract:
A stent mandrel fixture for supporting a stent during the application of a coating substance is provided. A method supporting a stent during the application of a coating substance is also provided.
Abstract:
The present invention is a substrate placing mechanism including: a placing stage provided for placing a substrate to be processed thereon in a processing container in which a processing atmosphere is formed by a process gas, the placing stage having a plurality of pin-inserting holes; a plurality of lifter-pins, each of which is inserted into and vertically movable in each of the plurality of pin-inserting holes; an elevating member that supports the plurality of lifter-pins; and an elevating mechanism that causes the lifter-pins to vertically move via the elevating member. Each of the plurality of pin-inserting holes has a circular protrusion at an opening part of a lower end thereof. The circular protrusion protrudes inwardly and circularly. Each of the plurality of lifter-pins has a diameter-increasing part configured to be supported by the circular protrusion to close the opening part when a corresponding lifter-pin is caused to move down.
