Numerous accessories each may be individually and interchangeably mountable to and releasable from at least one of the base and the actuator. Each attachment may perform a food processing function when the actuator is moved from the unactuated position to the actuated position.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to novel modified polyaminoamides which are useful as dispersing agents for particulate inorganic solids, especially for inorganic pigments such as clay minerals. The new polyamides are also useful as graying inhibiting additives and detergency boosting additives in washing composition for laundry. In the modified polyaminoamide according to the invention at least a part of the amino nitrogens of the polymer carry both a hydrocarbon radical R which is selected from C1-C6-alkyl, C6-C16-aryl-C1-C4-alkyl and a group AIk-O-A, wherein A is hydrogen or an acidic group selected from B1—PO(OH)2, B1—S(O)2OH and B2—COOH which may be present in the acidic or anionic form, wherein B1 is a single bond or C1-C6-alkanediyl, and B2 is C1-C6-alkanediyl and Alk is C2-C6-alkane-1,2-diyl, and a moiety of the formula (I) —(CH2—CR1R2—O—)pA ,wherein A is as defined above R1 is independently selected from hydrogen, C1-C12-alkyl, C2-C8-alkenyl, C6-C16-aryl or C6-C16-aryl-C1-C4-alkyl, R2 is independently selected from hydrogen or methyl and p is an integer provided that p has a number average of at least 10.

The present invention relates to bioactive fractions and compounds from Dalbergia sissoo for the prevention or treatment of osteo-health related disorders. The present invention relates in the field of pharmaceutical composition that provides new plant extracts, their fractions and pure compound isolated from natural sources that are useful for the prevention and/or treatment of various medical indications associated with estrogen dependent or independent diseases or syndromes or disorders preferably in the prevention or treatment of estrogen dependent or independent diseases or syndromes or disorders caused in humans and animals, and achievement of peak bone mass during skeletal growth and health in humans and animals. Particularly the present invention further relates to the processes for the preparation of biologically active extracts, fractions, and isolation of pure compounds, from Dalbergia sissoo plant from the family Fabaceae their pharmaceutically acceptable salts and compositions of the principal aspect of the present invention.
Abstract:
A hydroelectric power generation system includes a turbine assembly configured to be submerged under water and adapted to reciprocate in a vertical direction. The turbine assembly includes a turbine impeller having a plurality of blades configured to rotate about a central axis, and a turbine casing arranged surrounding the turbine impeller. The hydroelectric power generation system further includes a generator operatively coupled to the turbine impeller and a prime mover operatively coupling the turbine impeller to the generator. The turbine assembly is configured to slide relative to the prime mover in the vertical direction. The system further includes a displacement mechanism to move the turbine assembly in the vertical direction between a first position and a second position. The turbine impeller rotates in response to the vertical movement of the turbine inside the water, causing the rotation of the prime mover to operate the generator to generate electricity.
Abstract:
A semiconductor device includes a substrate and a gate dielectric layer on the substrate. The gate dielectric layer includes a single metal oxide layer. The semiconductor device includes a gate electrode stack on the gate dielectric layer. The gate electrode stack includes a metal filling line. The gate electrode stack includes a work function layer covering the sidewall and the bottom surface of the metal filling line. The gate electrode stack includes a capping layer in contact with the gate dielectric layer between sidewalls of the gate dielectric layer and sidewalls of the work function layer. The capping layer includes TaC and at least one of TiN or TaN. The gate electrode stack includes a barrier layer interposed between the capping layer and the sidewalls of the work function layer. The barrier layer comprises TaC and WN, and the barrier layer is in contact with the capping layer.
Abstract:
A device for administration of an aerosol includes a generator of particles of size between 10 nm and 200 um, a mouthpiece or mouth mask for oral administration of the aerosol during the nasal exhalation phase or during the respiratory pause phase preceding nasal exhalation, and a source of gas or pressure for conveying the particles. The mouthpiece is airtight, extends beyond the teeth of the patient by a maximum length of 4 cm, and administers the aerosol for the nasal cavities, the rhinopharynx or the paranasal sinuses during aerosol administration phases, such that the is successively applied to the mouth, the rhinopharynx and then the nasal fossae and the sinuses, and then the aerosol escapes via one or both of the patient's nostrils. The device does not allow exhalation via the mouth during aerosol administration phases, and the aerosol particles not being directed to the lungs.
Abstract:
A sealable and resealable container is provided having a novel locking means, a portion of which is carried by the lid part and the other portion of which is carried by the body of the container. The portion carried by the body comprises a plurality of flexible lock tab members integrally formed in a peripheral band which is attached to but circumferentially spaced from the side wall of the body adjacent its open top. The other portion is carried by the lid and comprises a depending circumferential flange which terminates in a radial, outwardly extending rib. In securing the lid to the body, the flange is inserted between the peripheral band and the side wall of the body, and pressure is applied until the rib first clears and then is engaged by the lower ends of the lock tab members. To remove the lid, the lock tab members are first disengaged from locking engagement with the rib and upward pressure is applied on the rib until the lid is removed. The upper edge of the side wall of the body is preferably tapered to snugly fit into a convergent groove on the lid part in firmly sealing the lid to the body.
Abstract:
An electrostatic sprayer operable at high flow rates and low pressures particularly suitable for spray drying. The sprayer includes an elongated body having a downstream spray nozzle assembly through which electrically charged liquid is directed via a central feed tube within the nozzle body and atomizing air is supplied via an annular passage about the liquid feed tube. In one embodiment, the nozzle assembly is an external mix cluster head spray nozzle assembly having a plurality of circumferentially spaced metallic spray tips. In another embodiment, the spray nozzle is an internal mix nozzle assembly having a spray tip with an internal mixing chamber for atomizing liquid prior to discharge.
