Abstract:
The object of the present invention is a seal device for a valve rod controlled by a cam included in a camshaft housing of an internal-combustion engine having at least one cylinder. The device according to the invention includes a pipe (10) connecting on the one hand a feed line (2) for feeding the carbureted mixture into a combustion chamber (1) closed by a valve (5) and, on the other hand, a camshaft housing (4). A nonreturn valve (11) is arranged in said pipe (10) in order to divide said pipe (10) into two volumes (12, 13), the first volume (12) being connected to housing (4) and forming a capacity under pressure having a pressure P1 greater than or equal to the pressure P2 prevailing in feed line (2) and in the second volume (13).The device according to the invention is intended for preventing fuel leaks from the feed line (2) towards the camshaft housing (4).
Abstract:
A device for controlling a pneumatic injection of a carbureted mixture into a combustion chamber of a two stroke internal combustion engine, with the device including a compressed gas supply pipe adapted to be communicated with the combustion chamber of a cylinder by an intermittent sealing element, and a fuel metering device opening into the compressed gas supply pipe. A selective sealing element is arranged in the compressed gas supply pipe upstream from the intermittent sealing element and from the fuel injection device for controlling all carbureted mixture conveyed into the compressed gas supply pipe and used for pneumatic injection according to operating conditions of the internal combustion engine.
Abstract:
A two-stroke engine comprising a crankshaft rotating around a first axis of rotation and having at least one balancing mass, a controller for controlling feeding of at least one combustion chamber of the engine. A second shaft is rotatable around a second axis of rotation parallel to the first axis of rotation and is rotatably driven by the crankshaft. At least one balancing mass is connected in rotation to the controller so as to achieve a first order balancing of the reciprocating masses of the engine. A pneumatic fuel injection system, utilizing a portion of an air charge of the engine, sprays fuel into the combustion chamber at predetermined times of a working cycle, and a counter rotating drive of the pneumatic injection controller means by the crankshaft is achieved by a two-space toothed belt.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a travel system for a hybrid type motor vehicle comprising a thermal engine (10) with a shaft (12), an electric machine (14) with a rotor (16) connected to electric accumulators (72), a drive shaft (16) controlled in rotation by the machine and/or the engine for rotating the motive axle (60) of the vehicle, and a rotating speed variation device (13) between said drive shaft and shaft (12) of engine (10). According to the invention, the speed variation device comprises at least two alternate paths (VT1, VT2) for motion transmission to motive axle (60) controlled each by a disengageable coupling (30, 36).
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an internal-combustion engine comprising at least one cylinder (10) in which a piston (14) slides between a top dead center (TDC) and a bottom dead center (BDC) under the action of a connecting rod (20) of axis XX and a crankshaft (38) controlling the displacement of the piston under the effect of an articulated linking system (26) allowing variation of the engine displacement and/or compression ratio. The articulated linking system comprises a shift lever (26) mounted to pivot around an articulation axle (46) and is displaceable in translation in at least one direction by displacement control means (52, 52V). The shift lever comprises a porthole (44) within which the axle is housed and is connected by one (24) of its ends to the connecting rod and by the other (28) end to a link (32) connected to the crankshaft. Shift lever (26) comprises a slider (78) carrying articulation axle (46) and cooperating with opening (44) of the lever.

The system includes a disengageable coupling between one of the elements of the transmission chain and rotor of electric machine, and another disengageable coupling between outpu2 shaft of thermal engine and said rotor.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for delivering and for metering additives to the combustion chamber of an internal-combustion engine consuming a known and controlled amount of lubricant, according to which the lubricant consumed comprises at least one additive designed to improve the quality of the combustion in the chamber. In particular, the additive is designed to promote the combustion of an engine working with controlled self-ignition and to obtain operation in a wider speed and/or load range of the engine.
