Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus for detecting magnetic fields. A magnetic sensor can include a substantially planar magnetostrictive layer. A piezoelectric layer can be bonded to a lower surface of the magnetostrictive layer. An electrode layer can be bonded to a lower surface of the piezoelectric layer. The device can be configured such that, when exposed to a magnetic field, at least one of an admittance amplitude, a quality factor, and a resonant frequency of the device is altered. The device can have a resonant frequency in the range of about 1 MHz to about 100 GHz.

Abstract: An exceptional road-condition warning device, system and method for a vehicle are provided. The system includes an information processing device and a display device. The display device provides real-time and advance warning information to a driver of the vehicle. The system may notice the driver and passenger in advance to respond to an exceptional road condition before the vehicle approaches the occurring place of the road condition through a back-end cooperative self-learning mechanism. The back-end cooperative self-learning mechanism may collect the exceptional road conditions from different vehicles and update the database automatically to maintain the accuracy. The back-end cooperative self-learning mechanism further shares the information stored in the database with the databases installed in the vehicles by a bidirectional communication manner to update the information inside the database of the vehicles for the information processing device.

Abstract: A method for executing a system management interrupt (SMI) is provided. When a power on self test (POST) is executed, a first identifier is generated and stored into a system management mode block of a memory. During a process for starting an operating system (OS), the first identifier is read from the system management mode block as a second identifier, and the second identifier is stored into an OS block of the memory. When the OS wants to use a system management interrupt, the first identifier and the second identifier are respectively read from the system management mode block and the OS block. Afterwards, it is determined whether the first identifier and the second identifier are the same. If the first identifier and the second identifier are the same, the SMI is executed.

Abstract: A debug method for computer system is disclosed. The method includes the following steps. Firstly, a first index is increased. Next, a first debug data to a jth debug data are received via a debug port of controller. Then, the first debug data to the jth debug data are sequentially stored to a first memory block of a storage unit of the controller according to the second index of controller. Afterwards, the (i+1)th debug data to the jth debug data are copied to the second memory block from the first memory block according to the increased first index before a controller's power supply is removed or the computer system enters a sleep state. Lastly, an application is implemented so that the second memory block is read according to the first index; wherein, i and j are integers.
