Disclosed are systems and methods of employing a multi-ring encryption approach to secure a data payload. Each ring of encryption may be encrypted from a key derived from a password, such that each subsequent ring of protection is protected by a key derived from the key used to encrypt the previous ring of protection. Further, hardware-based encryption may be employed in one or more of the rings of protection to bind the encrypted payload to the hardware. Such systems and methods may be used to reduce the ability to parallelize an attack on encrypted data while also permitting password-related data to be synchronized across a network.

A multi-band reflector antenna having a main reflector, a sub reflector, a first feed and a second feed. The first feed, the sub reflector and the main reflector positioned in a Gregorian optic configuration wherein an output of the first feed is directed to the sub reflector, from the sub reflector to the main reflector and from the main reflector into a first beam. The sub reflector may be shaped to distribute the output of the first feed reflecting off the sub reflector onto the main reflector whereby a central area of the main reflector has a lower illumination than a surrounding outer area of the main reflector and or elongated vertically. The second feed projecting from a hole in the sub reflector is oriented whereby an output of the second feed is directed to the main reflector and from the main reflector into a second beam.

A method of forming a high k gate stack (dielectric constant of greater than that of silicon dioxide) on a surface of a III-V compound semiconductor, such GaAs, is provided. The method includes subjecting a III-V compound semiconductor material to a precleaning process which removes native oxides from a surface of the III-V compound semiconductor material; forming a semiconductor, e.g., amorphous Si, layer in-situ on the cleaned surface of the III-V compound semiconductor material; and forming a dielectric material having a dielectric constant that is greater than silicon dioxide on the semiconducting layer. In some embodiments, the semiconducting layer is partially or completely converted into a layer including at least a surface layer that is comprised of AOxNy prior to forming the dielectric material. In accordance with the present invention, A is a semiconducting material, preferably Si, x is 0 to 1, y is 0 to 1 and x and y are both not zero.

Thermoplastic bicomponent binder fiber can be combined with other media, fibers and other filtration components to form a thermally bonded filtration media. The filtration media can be used in filter units, such as breather caps. Multi-channel high resolution segmented resistor string digital-to-analog converters (DACs) suitable for realization in a single integrated circuit. The DACs incorporate a primary resistor string shared by all channels, and one or more additional pluralities of additional resistor strings for additional resolution. The primary resistor string may be buffered to limit the effect of loading thereon by the plurality of resistor strings coupled thereto. Current sources may also be coupled to the resistor strings coupled to the primary resistor string to also avoid loading of the primary resistor string. A trimmable resistor string of fewer bits may be connected to the primary resistor string for laser trimming. In the embodiment disclosed, a plurality of secondary and tertiary resistor strings are used, with leapfrogging minimizing the switches required.

The present invention relates to a device for combining at least two data signals having an input data rate into a single data stream having an output data rate being higher than the input data rate for transmission on a shared medium or vice versa, particularly, to a single SDH/SONET framer capable of handling a large range of SDH/SONET frames from STM-i to STM-j with an aggregated total capacity corresponding to an STM-j frame where i and j are integers in the range from 1 to 64 or higher according to the STM-N definition of the SDH/SONET standards. More over, the present invention can also be extended to work with STS-1 as lowest range. STS-1 exists in SONET only not SDH and corresponds to a data rate of 51.5 Mb/s a third of the 156 Mb/s of STM-1.
