Abstract:
A routing module resolves the conflict of IP addresses among at least two devices connected over a network. The routing module assigns a global IP address to a device based on the addressing configuration of the device. The outbound packets are sent with this global IP address. A record of the global IP address assigned to the device, the local IP address and MAC address are maintained by an information module. Where the local IP address of two or more devices is the same, the MAC address is used to determine the appropriate destination device. Routing module determines the entry in the information module that corresponds to the global IP address included within the IP header of inbound packets. The inbound packets are sent to the local IP address and MAC address of the appropriate destination-device that is derived from the entry that corresponds to the global IP address.
Abstract:
A glossy protective coating for painted or glossy surfaces is formed from a substantially silicone-free aqueous emulsion of film-forming agent, solvent, and a fluoropolymer that reduces soil adhesion and increases water repellency.
Abstract:
A method for producing phosphonate in the form of a solid or a gel is provided. The solid can be prepared by neutralizing phosphonic acid as a result of mixing a neutralization composition comprising phosphonic acid and a source of alkalinity to provide phosphonate in a solid form without a step of drying. The gel can be prepared by neutralizing phosphonic acid as a result of mixing a neutralization composition comprising phosphonic acid, a source of alkalinity, and silicate to provide phosphonate in a phosphonate composition in the form of a gel. Methods for producing detergent compositions and detergent compositions are provided.
Abstract:
Rinse aid compositions and methods for using and methods for making the compositions for warewashing processes. In one aspect, the rinse aid composition includes ingredients listed on the FDA GRAS (“generally recognized as safe”) list, including 21 C.F.R. 172 and/or 21 C.F.R. 178; preferably, all the ingredients are listed on the GRAS list. The rinse aid composition includes at least two ethylene oxide-propylene oxide (EO/PO) copolymers, with at least one of those EO/PO copolymers being PO-terminated. The rinse aid composition can include two PO-terminated EO/PO copolymers.
Abstract:
A jobsite-applied radiation curable floor finish containing inorganic particles exhibits improved scratch resistance but can be removed using strip agents. The finish can be applied to a multipiece flooring material whose pieces have a top surface, a side surface or surfaces and gaps between pieces. The top surface is coated and at least the uppermost portion of the gaps are filled with a layer or layers of cured finish composition comprising radiation cured polymer and sufficient inorganic filler particles to impart increased scratch resistance to the cured finish. The finish can also be applied as a strip agent-permeable coating atop a strippable intermediate coating atop a substrate. The finish provides a better appearance and easier cleanability than would be the case if the flooring material had been factory-finished and then installed. In a factory-finished floor, there can be small differences in height between adjacent floorboards because it is not possible to sand the floorboards after installation without also removing at least some of the factory-applied finish. In a factory-finished floor, there are also small cracks between adjacent floorboards that are not sealed by the factory-applied finish.
Abstract:
Solid block alkaline detergent compositions are disclosed comprising a source of alkalinity, and other detergent additives including sequestrants. The solid block detergents of the invention used a mixed inorganic and organic sequestrant composition that successfully softens service water used in manufacturing aqueous detergents from the composition, but also obtains substantially improved organic soil removal on dishware or flatware. The solid block detergents of the invention comprise large masses of the chemical ingredients having a weight of greater than about 500 grams in a solid block product format that is typically dispensed using a spray on water dispenser that creates an aqueous concentrate that is used in a washing machine.
Abstract:
A coating composition includes a material adapted to form a coating; and a material that fluoresces when exposed to U.V. light or the material adapted to form a coating contains a U.V. blocker disposed on a U.V. indicator. A kit containing a U.V. indicator and material adapted to form a coating containing a U.V. blocker. Methods of coating a substrate with the coating compositions are also disclosed.
Abstract:
A warewashing detergent composition is provided according to the invention. The warewashing detergent composition includes a cleaning agent, an alkaline source, and a corrosion inhibitor. The cleaning agent comprises a detersive amount of a surfactant. The alkaline source is provided in an amount effective to provide a use composition having a pH of at least about 8. The corrosion inhibitor includes a source of aluminum ion and a source of zinc ion. The relative amounts of the source of zinc ion and the source of aluminum ion can be controlled to reduce visible filming when the warewashing detergent composition is used in the presence of hard water. Methods for using and manufacturing a warewashing detergent composition are provided.
Abstract:
A foam cleaning composition is provided that includes about 0.05 wt. % to about 10 wt. % total amount of surfactant, at least about 80 wt. % water, and a foam-boosting solvent having a HLB value of at least about 6.9 and an OHLB value of between about 12 and about 20. The foam-boosting solvent is provided at a weight ratio of the foam-boosting solvent to the total amount of surfactant of at least about 1:100. The foam cleaning composition exhibits at least 50 wt. % foam according to a 15 second vertical separation test. A foam dispenser and a method for foaming a cleaning composition are provided.
Abstract:
A system and method for remotely connecting client computers to a communication network such as the Internet by way of a server system handling a plurality of client computers and having the capability of dynamically providing network connections to the client computers, separately billing usage time and tracking usage and preferably updating access software on the client computers.
