A communication control system includes: an acquisition unit that acquires communication status information including a past communication traffic volume between the macro cell base station and a relay apparatus 20; a setting unit that presets a first permitted communication traffic volume for a first communication period during which a communication traffic volume between the macro cell base station and the relay apparatus 20 is equal to or more than a specified communication traffic volume, and a second permitted communication traffic volume for a second communication period during which the communication traffic volume is less than the specified communication traffic volume, on the basis of the communication status information; a measurement unit that measures a current communication traffic volume between the macro cell base station and the relay apparatus 20; and a control unit that controls the second permitted communication traffic volume on the basis of the measured current communication traffic volume.

    Abstract: Beamforming for radio communication (uplink) from a relay apparatus to a donor base station is performed accurately. A relay apparatus 20 is a relay apparatus 20 for relaying communication between a terminal device 10 and a donor base station 30 and includes: an amplitude and phase measurement unit 25 that measures an amplitude and phase of radio communication from the donor base station 30 to the relay apparatus 20; and a beam adjuster 27 that performs beamforming with respect to the donor base station 30 by adjusting amplitudes and phases from a plurality of antennas used at the relay apparatus 20 by measuring the amplitude and the phase by using the amplitude and phase measurement unit 25, wherein during a time slot when the terminal device 10 does not exist in a service area of the relay apparatus 20, the relay apparatus 20 detects no existence of the terminal device 10 in the service area and stops access radio, the amplitude and phase measurement unit 25 measures the amplitude and the phase, and the beam adjuster 27 performs the beamforming with respect to the donor base station 30, after which the access radio is restarted.

    Abstract: A base station apparatus of small-cell base station is provided, by which interference from a small-cell in downlink signals of macro cell can be suppressed without lowering a power of downlink signals from the small-cell base station more than necessary, in state that a macro-cell base station is located neighboring the small cell of small-cell base station. The base station apparatus comprises transmission-power control means of controlling a down link transmission power of downlink in a range between a maximum power and a minimum power which are set in advance, and information acquisition means of acquiring information on electrical field intensity of a transmission signal transmitted from the macro-cell base station located at a periphery of the own base station. The transmission-power control means changes the downlink transmission power so as to change the downlink transmission power to the minimum power or stop the transmission of the downlink transmission signal, when the electric field intensity of transmission signal from the macro-cell base station exceeds a preset electric-field upper threshold, or the electric field intensity is equal to or larger than the electric-field upper threshold, in a state that the downlink transmission power is set to the maximum power.
