An optical disc reproduction apparatus as an electronic apparatus comprises a display unit which is mounted on a main body unit via a hinge unit, and electrically connected to the main body by electrical wirings. The main body unit comprises a main body case, a hinge connecting portion and a control board which has connectors provided thereon. The hinge connecting portion and the connectors are placed in a housing portion formed in the main body unit, while the housing portion is open facing outward from the main body case. In a state where the main body unit is already assembled, the main body-side joint member of the hinge unit and the electrical wirings are housed into the housing portion to connect the main body-side joint member to the hinge connecting portion, and to connect the electrical wirings to the connectors. This structure increases assembling efficiency of the electronic apparatus.
Abstract:
In a control server, a storing section accumulates request data received from a terminal and used for remotely operating, via a control apparatus, a home electric appliance provided in a home. A generating section generates schedule data on the basis of at least one of the request data and the inquiry. The schedule data is data concerning a frequency of an inquiry about the request data by the control apparatus and data transmitted to the control apparatus. A transmitting section transmits the request data stored in the storing section to the control apparatus in response to the inquiry transmitted from the control apparatus at a frequency indicated by the schedule data.

Disclosed is a liquid-fuel storage vessel for use in a vapor jet system to store liquid fuel, wherein the vapor jet system is adapted to jet the fuel in a state after being vaporized inside the liquid-fuel storage vessel, outside the liquid-fuel storage vessel, to obtain a thrust. The liquid-fuel storage vessel comprises: a hollow tank for storing the liquid fuel, wherein the tank has an ejection port for ejecting the vaporized fuel, outside the liquid-fuel storage vessel therethrough; a heating device for heating the tank; and a porous metal formed to have a plurality of interconnected cells and provided inside the tank, wherein at least a part of the liquid fuel is held in the cells of the porous metal, and heat energy given from the heating device to the tank is transferred to the liquid fuel through the porous metal to cause vaporization of at least a part of the liquid fuel. The liquid-fuel storage vessel of the present invention can obtain a stable thrust level and ensure spacecraft attitude control.

An optical disc reproduction apparatus as electronic apparatus has a display unit mounted via a hinge unit on a main body unit which has a main body case having lower and upper cases for housing a control board and a hinge connecting portion connected to a main body-side joint member of the hinge unit. The hinge connecting portion is formed of a part of the main body case, and has upper and lower connecting members formed of a part of the upper case and a part of the lower case, respectively. The lower connecting member is overlaid on a lower surface of the upper connecting member. The main body-side joint member is attached to the upper connecting member, and connected to both the upper and lower connecting members with hinge mounting screws so as to be connected to the hinge connecting portion.
Abstract:
A liquid propellant tank for storing a liquid propellant A and supplying vapor produced by evaporation of part of the liquid propellant A to an external location comprises a tank body for storing the liquid propellant A, and a plurality of holder plates arranged inside the tank body, around an axis L of the tank body. The holder plates cause the liquid propellant A to adhere to them by surface tension, thereby establishing, inside the tank body, a liquid propellant holding area LA in which the liquid propellant A is held and a gas accumulation area GA in which vapor produced by evaporation of part of the liquid propellant A accumulates. The tank body has a propellant inlet open into the liquid propellant holding area LA and a gas outlet open into the gas accumulation area GA.
Abstract:
A method for driving a liquid ejector (1) provided with a piezoelectric actuator (7) including a piezoelectric ceramic layer (6) having a size covering a plurality of pressurizing chambers (2). An arbitrary piezoelectric deformation region (8) of the liquid ejector (1) is deflected in one thickness direction and the opposite direction individually by applying a driving voltage waveform including a first voltage (−VL) and an equivalent second voltage (+VL) of the opposite polarity in order to vary the volume of the pressurizing chambers (2) of a corresponding liquid droplet ejecting portion (4), and a liquid droplet is ejected through a communicating nozzle (3). Since gradual creep deformation of the inactive region (16) of the piezoelectric ceramic layer (6) is prevented, the ink droplet ejection performance is maintained at a good level over a long period.
Abstract:
An electric power steering control apparatus can reduce steering torque even in a steering holding state or a slight steering state without providing an unpleasant feeling to a driver. The apparatus includes a torque sensor for detecting steering torque generated by the driver for a vehicle, a motor for generating assist torque to assist the steering torque, a rotational speed detector for detecting the rotational speed of the motor, a torque controller for calculating an assist torque current corresponding to the assist torque based on the steering torque, and a damping control section for calculating a damping current to be added to the assist torque current to suppress vibrations generated in a steering system of the vehicle. The damping controller reduces a damping control gain to calculate the damping current when the rotational speed of the motor is equal to or less than a predetermined speed.
